First off, gross sushi if you like fishy mediocre sushi then this is the place for you! LOL place sucks. People around you are unfriendly but so isn’t the workers…go to show the people that hire them.. ick. Tempura bagel tasted like the oil they fried it in gross. Everything was low quality ingredients. They clearly take pride in getting your food to you quick not caring how it’ll taste or look. The prices are ridiculous for the trash you’ll be digesting. It’s worth it if you want to waste some $

Employees are unhappy to be there.
The roll was DRENCHED in spicy mayo. It almost wasn't edible. 20$ with tip. Never again.

I had a terrible experience. I came in today at 6pm. They took over 20 mins to make one sushi roll, and they lady behind the counter was awfully rude when I asked her about my food, to me and her fellow coworkers. The sushi was made sloppy and rushed. I will not be coming back here.

This place is so delicious I never heard of a sushi burrito and since coming here I’ll never look back or eat sushi and other way it was amazing. I ordered the gulf, and the crab and tempura shrimp combo was the best along with the veggies, however I wouldn’t eat this if you don’t like a little heat because the Serrano peppers and the spicy mayo inside give it a nice flavor and heat kick but along with the cream cheese addition I think it takes some of the kick out overall 10/10 the crew is amazing as well shout out to the guys on the frontline :).

Showed up around 6pm on a Monday. They were out of shrimp, chicken and crab. No updated signage, or anything so when it was time to order, I told my order, A Zuuku roll and chicken curry.

They told me they didn’t have two of the ingredients for the roll…not apologetic, more annoyed I would order their namesake sushi roll. Didnt even say that they couldn’t serve chicken curry. Was already overwhelmed with the line to think on the spot anything on the menu that I could substitute or order that they have. Yellowtail and Tuna I think were the options.

Went for the tofu curry, which was really just a sad dish. I didn’t have high hopes but even then it was a let down. Charred brocolli, cold corn, wet rice, an okay curry and tofu. Just was really lacking.

Ended up with tuna only for the zukku roll which I guess was no longer the roll, I got an order of dumplings, a soda and a green tea. It was $55 dollars for what was probably enough food for 1 person. The dumplings were good. The sushi roll was good, just not what I ordered. Skip the curry though? Maybe the chicken really sells the dish though but from other reviews it doesn’t seem so.

I did only go to armature, pay $10 for parking because zuuku works with the app inkind I had a credit a there is limited options. So I drove 30+ minutes. I should have just gotten to the register, said no thanks and went home. Because that money could’ve gone better at another restaurant.

I see the owner reads these reviews and that great. I hope you can put a little more love in the tofu curry or the curry dish because it can really use it

Visited there yesterday and ordered the big poke bowl includes 2 proteins per menu, but I was charged extra for salmon for $2.50 and tuna for another $2.50… the only additional I added was seaweed salad which was $.75.. i was confused at first why my total became $26.50.. and I realized they charged me $2.50 extra for the salmon and $2.50 for tuna when I didn’t ask for the additional protein.. I read the menu again and it said additional +2.50 for extra protein but I didn’t order extra protein nor got extra protein..I didn’t realize until the next day.. Tried calling and messaging with no response.

Zukku Sushi is a Japanese food stall located in the Heights Public Market.

The food tasted good and was freshly made. A good portion size for lunch.

Very mediocre rolls but Japanese curry was disgusting- cold rice, tasted exactly like Indian curry food made from the jar. Awful. Not enough liquid, dry

Got my son a California Roll and the pork fried gyozas. He said the rolls were okay... but the gyozas were amazing. He would definitely get those again.

DO NOT EAT HERE. got food poisoning for 3 days because of their spicy salmon poke bowl. I know it was from here cause it was the only thing i had that day and it killed me the rest of the day. their spicy salmon bowl is raw so either the salmon wasn’t fresh or it was sitting out too long.

The sushi was okay, the menu has a lot of options, like bowls, burritos, sushi. A little bit overpriced

Best poke bowl in Tampa. I've tried others, and nothing compares to this place. All the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. It's sad that you guys don't stay open late, so we have to buy from other places, and I always regret it because nothing compares to your poke. Delicious!!!
