They either have no standard operating procedures and best practices or they don’t care about their guest experience. I ordered carry out, and was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived in 25 minutes, gave them my name, and that it was for carry out. The girl at the podium passed the info to the girl standing next to her. The girl she told went to the kitchen area, came back, and stood around. After 20 minutes of patiently waiting, I told the older woman, I presume she was a manager, I had been waiting for a take out order for 20 minutes, and that no one had bothered to see if it was ready. One of the girls hanging around the podium went back toward the kitchen, and ten minutes later, a different girl brings the food.
I asked her if she could set the food down so I could make sure the order was complete. She set the food on the bins that hold the peanuts, rolled her eyes as if I was making an unreasonable request, and tried to slide my bank card on her machine which wasn’t working. She had to go to a different terminal to run the card. She brings the card, and small tray they use to sign the bill, and leered at me the whole time waiting for me to sign.
Needless to say, I didn’t give them a tip. For what? Attitude and lousy service!
I normally order from Longhorn Steakhouse but I didn’t feel like driving an extra 2 miles south to get there, and then 2 miles back to get home. Lesson learned. If it’s convenient, don’t do it. I’ve never had an issue with Longhorn. Every time I’ve ordered from Longhorn, the food was ready when they said it would be, the service has been prompt and courteous, and the staff doesn’t act like I’m an inconvenience.
Perhaps the manager and staff from Cody’s should take a field trip 2 miles south to Longhorn, and see what real service and professionalism looks like. Then again, maybe they’re content being less than mediocre. If you value your time, don’t waste it with Cody’s! As for me, I never make the same mistake twice. This was an absolute waste of time and money!

It must have been the waitress' first day because she seemed confused about the restaurant's policy. Only a couple dinner roles for a table of 6. The food was presented fast, and it was good, but drink refills were not offered until well after the meal was completed. We ordered cocktails, had to order them 3 times, then had to ask the manager. This will not stop us from eating at Cody's, but I hope the waitress will be better experienced by then.

Place is great they just redid the floor and looks amazing. This Codys is managed very well. Our Server KD was awesome as usual. The early bird is great and salad is awesome. They have the best rolls they keep us coming back! Really glad this Codys is the same and hasn't changed like other restaurant!
