Very, very good and well priced. We went to celebrate a birthday and so glad we decided Currents. Our server Scott was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. Our first time here, and to be honest we were not even thinking this was hiding all along. The owner stopped by and was very pleasant and really made us felt welcomed. After dinner, Scott shared a small tour of the event room, and it is fantastic. Our meal was great, our drinks were very good, and service excellent. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends. So nice having such a great restaurant right in downtown Tarpon Springs.

This place looks like it's been around a while, but you quickly discover what that means. They know how to make good food and provide a great service, all in an atmosphere that invites you to say, "We are definitely coming back."

Entire evening was delightful from the craft cocktails, appetizer scallops, chateaubriand and dessert. All dishes were expertly prepared.

Impressed doesn’t begin to describe our experience. We always celebrate our anniversary with a highly rated restaurant, not minding the price, and we have been disappointed for 13 years. We celebrated our 14th anniversary tonight and we are now planning to be Current regulars.

The ambiance with the guitar player was so pleasant. The service by Beth was top notch- with the menu changes she discussed with the chef and found a way to provide an amazing dish.

We had the crab cakes which were full of crab and not filler. Lightly fried and drizzled with a flavorful sauce and chopped vegetables.

The house salads were pretty substantial with a nice, light dressing and plenty of vegetable toppings.

Beth was great at recognizing when we might be interested in refills, and other staff, including Shawn, helped in clearing dishes and filling waters.

The filet was nicely done as was the short rib. We don’t often indulge on dessert but we had to try the homemade tiramisu, and it was light and fluffy and really nicely done!

The portions were fair. The service was amazing. The ambiance, on point. We will most definitely be back, and are actually quite sad we have lived here several years and just now “splurged” on this experience. Well worth the cost!

We had been here before for lunch so we knew we loved the atmosphere but was surprised to see they had a wonderful acoustical Guitar player that was fabulous. We had the shrimp cocktail and scallops. Scallops were perfectly seared, great flavor. The fish and steak we had was a good portion, good temperature, well seasoned and delicious. So was my cocktail and dessert. Service was top see It was an expensive dinner, but at leasit was wort

We found ourselves driving into the downtown area of Tarpon Springs. We were hungry for lunch and didn't care to eat at one of the pubs. We noticed quite a lot of people walking into a restaurant nearby, so we decided to go take a look. We were greeted by an incredibly kind lady, Tracey (owner & chef). The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was fancy, and we felt a bit underdressed and we had our infant daughter along with us...but nonetheless Tracy was super welcoming and squelched those worries! Unfortunately, my pregnancy cravings called for a gyro which wasn't on the menu, so Tracey went so far as to walk us next door to another local eatery. What a beautiful representation of community support! Because of Tracey's professionalism and personality, we decided to come back for some dessert! The caramel cheesecake was wonderful and certainly satisfied our sweet tooth. We got to chat some more with Tracey and she gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. We will certainly be back! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

On Father's day we made reservations for 4. I had looked over the menu prior to coming in and was very much looking forward to escargot and duck breast that were my father's favorite having been there before and raved about them.
Neither duck breast or escargot were offered on a special Father's day menu. All 4 of us wanted escargot, we did not order appetizers.
The crab cakes I had were very good. And the pork aso bucco was good which we chose as no duck was available on this menu either. Sad because the 2 things my father wanted were not on the menu
Then for dessert saw an amazing bread pudding which upon ordering I find they did not have that either.
In the end, the food was good, sadly the restaurant lost out on sales, tips.

We dined as a small group, food wasn't too bad but not according to the prices in the menu (very high). A/C didn't work, we were all sweating while eating, but the most disturbing thing to me is that this place decided to charge 22% tip, regardless. In this world, tip is optional, if the customer feels like he received good service and food, then leaves a tip. Period. Not planning to come back.

We went here last week and I'm still thinking about it. I was going to take my girl out for a special occasion, I made a reservation and didn't think much of it. It was until the day before the reservation, Executive Chef Geoffrey Blanchette reached out to me and asked me if he could do anything to make our night even better. I was very surprised and appreciated the call to no end. We arrived at the restaurant with the table I had asked for and flowers Chef Blanchette helped me pick over the phone.

Our server Ryan, the food, and the atmosphere were all great as well. Currents set a standard I doubt will be met by any restaurant I go to in the future.
