Don Taco Mexican Restaurant

This place is truly authentic. Coming from Cali it's hard to find a truly good great mexican restaurant and we finally found it. First they bring 6 samples of salsa to try with their delicious homemade chips. We order guacamole which was delicious. Street tacos steak was amazing. I had shrimp and grouper tacos amazing taste. Then my daughter ordered a burrito that was huge and delicious. This little place doesn't look like much on outside, but inside the food is fantastic!!!!

Tonight was my last night ever eating here. This used to be my favorite taco restaurant before they switched their building. Since then every time I order here my order is ALWAYS wrong no matter how many times I have them confirm my order with me while placing it. My last straw was ordering the taco Tuesday deal for the first time in a while and asking for them American style on American tortilla with no rice or beans on my tacos. I was assured over and over that it was what I was going to receive but that did not happen of course. I went back in to get the situation rectified and I was told they couldn’t fix my order only give me my money back even though this was an issue on their end. It really sucks because I used to eat here atleast once a week and it has just gone down hill with customer service and the quality of meals.

I took my mom here last night and they didn’t disappoint. The chile rellenos was exceptional; living and venturing throughout Texas and mid/west, by far the best! From the chips and sampler salsas to the rice and beans. Hands down best authentic Mexican food to be found in Pasco/Pinellas counties.
Yum yum fantastic! Birria tacos… whole different conversation! Don’t miss out… Mexican food lovers, a must try!!

Well me and my fiance decided to try something different, order a few tacos and 2 churros. Unfortunately ours churros we're delivered uncooked. We actually just thought it was just the beginning of the churro but we actually broke it down and both we're completely uncooked. Other than that this place is pretty good. 7 out of 10

I got take out .. go here often and every time I go something is wrong ! Today I came home and waited to eat my chicken flour tacos Mexican style and they were the corn soft tacos !! It's really irritating that I can't get the right order and I have to wait until I'm ready to eat to find out they screwed it up ! Food is good when you get what you really want! But this is about the fifth time I've been disappointed.. and we ordered there at least every other week spending $35 or more ... Never have I gotten a compensation for their mistake ! Sad review Don taco Juan the owner.. you need to check your people.. my receipt was written correctly and they made it wrong! What kind of compensation do I get ? Very disappointed ☹️

I ordered a shrimp burrito meal and when I picked it up they said the total was $30 which I thought was expensive but I asked for shrimp so I just took as a lessoned learned but when I ate it I was very disappointed because there was literally no shrimp in the burrito. So my ordered was over priced and I am very disappointed
