What a great little spot. Loved the music, the food is wonderful, especially the shrimp and grits appetizer and the Butterfish. The service was slow because of how crowded it was.

We had a special occasion dinner and while our waiter was very nice after we had waited an hour for our food we were told they were out of the ribs special and the people in our party who ordered the special had to re-order. This message was delivered without much concern and no apology by the representative from the kitchen. I went in and privately asked the hostess to have someone bring us more bread and butter and to check with the manager/owner/chef and see if our table could be comped a couple of deserts or something because of our long wait. We finally got our food after waiting one hour and forty minutes and nothing was offered to make up for their problem except charging the special price for what was ordered. The creole food was fairly good but, overall the whole experience was soured because of the way this was handled and several in our group don't eat spicy food and picked this restaurant for the rib special. It is sad they had a chance to make this right and chose to do so little.

Todd is the best waiter and his brother (Doug) is the chef. The food is fabulous. I have been here numerous times and always start out with the gumbo. The entree's change periodically so you never know what new dish they will offer. The bread pudding is a huge favorite. I have never been disappointed. The music adds to the ambience. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Pinellas County.

We were a large group of twelve and did not realize we needed a reservation on a thursday night. The restaurant was very helpful to comedy us and we were not disappointed in our experience.
