Jersey Mike's Subs

This Jersey Mikes location was phenomenal! The all female staff I encountered this morning were absolute sweethearts, had the best work ethic & attitude, clean work stations, and fast assembly times. Even when they were working on a humongous catering order, they still prioritized the customer in front of them. I cannot express how amazing these women are. I hope the manager and franchise owner sees this and gives them all the props and kudos possible.

I came to this Jersey Mike’s location for the first time, and while the subs themselves don’t disappoint, the customer experience unfortunately did.

The place was very clean, but the service was a big letdown. With all the sub options around this area (Subway, Firehouse, etc.), I expected at least a warm welcome. Instead, the young man working the counter barely acknowledged me, almost as if he was doing me a favor by taking my order. The store wasn’t busy, so it wasn’t a matter of being rushed.

Another customer who came in after me even expressed three times that it was her first time at Jersey Mike’s. Rather than making her feel welcome, the only thing the employee asked was if she had a rewards account. No smile, no thank you, not even a “welcome to Jersey Mike’s.” He just rang her up and moved on.

Maybe it was just a bad day for the staff, but first impressions matter. A smile, a greeting, and a simple thank-you go a long way — especially with so many other sub shops nearby competing for business.

I love Jersey Mikes; I grew up in Point Pleasant so it's always been a favorite. Hadn't had it though for a while until we moved to Tarpon. Now I eat there twice a week at least.

But this particular location ... This place has one of the best crews working behind the counter. And I literally mean the best. They greet you, they work fast, they are well organized on the line. Today the kid called me sir! Other food chains it seems like they are trained to not make eye contact with you until absolutely necessary and you definitely are not being called sir! 🤣.
As a business owner I would love to know the hiring process or training because someone somewhere knows what they are doing. I make sure to tip them everytime and I hope I'm not the only one! Again great food and really great staff.

I ordered pickup. O came in asked for my order and was told It's on the shelp..then they walked away. I asked if I could get some oil/vinegar on the side. Their response, was it on your order. I said no, the app wouldn't let me add it, their respinse. YES IT DOES. I told them no the door dash app wouldn't save the info. He gets me the oil/vinegar and puts it on counter and walks away..nothing. serious attitude. First off I should have been greeted with a smile and nice tone. Second, when I asked for oil/vinegar the response should have been. Sure I will get that for you and a thank you when I left. I usually have a good experience but apparently the employee was in a mood.

So I eat at this location quite often I work right around the corner but today I had a pickup order for 11 56. I check the to go section when I get there right about same time and it's not up there so that's fine I sit down and wait for someone to put it up on the to go section. After sitting about 10 minutes I waited in line to ask if there was a pickup for Zack. My Philly steak and cheese was done the entire time. For some reason she got it from the back and said was waiting to sticker it. I looked at her so confused because I was so confused why would you not just sticker it when done and put on the to go shelf? Anyway I had to ask for it remade because it was a hot sub had been sitting forever. I feel this location has gone down with the service except for 1 employee that's bewn there since I started going about 3 years ago. Hope something changes because I really like the food but won't be going back for a while now.

My husband and I fell in love with their subs, but something has changed with their roast beef. When we first started going there, it was always rare and delicious. I don't know if they changed brands or something, but now it looks gray/brown, tastes funny, and I even got sick one night about 7 hours after I ate the sub. We have switched where we get our subs. I hope they change whatever it is that's different, because in my book, they had the best subs and we are willing to pay that kind of money when the food is good. Please change your roast beef back!!!

We came in just before closing, and I know that sucks because you’re prepping to shut down for the night…but the team that was on staff that night were extremely pleasant, courteous, and professional. I would recommend going to this location just for the team that was working 6/28 at closing

Surprised of the pricing, expensive. They need to be more competitive. There are other sub shops more competitive in pricing, taste and quality. Mediocre.
