We've been once before for dinner, it was excellent. We came back today for lunch, posted hours on the door say 12 noon- 9 pm on Wednesdays, but they are closed and no one answers the phone at 1 pm. Theres no signage on the door to indicate that its a special circumstance or anything. Super disappointing. Probsbly won't be back since we can't rely on them to be open during their posted hours.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a good place to eat in the tarpon area as we were exploring and we came across this gem. The food was delicious! The lady working there gave exceptional service. Very sweet and met all our needs with so much grace. Highly recommend their hibachi and sushi!

Out waitress was so very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. Mt Fuji roll was to die for!! Hibachi was delicious!! We will definately be coming back!
Hands down the freshest and tastiest sushi I’ve ever had. The Lava roll was incredible, highly recommend it and anything else on the menu!!

I stopped in at Taste of Japan with a friend and I ordered the hibachi chicken and a fried sushi roll. The fried sushi roll was amazing we loved it. The hibachi chicken was alright. I would definitely recommend checking out the sushi if you have never been.

There is something seriously wrong with the sushi here, the food was foul! I ordered yellowtail nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. I opened the yellowtail tray and could literally smell the fish without putting it up to my nose, I took one bite of it and it tasted every bit of equally as fishy. I thought it was just me so I had my husband try, he agreed! The spicy tuna roll didn’t even taste like anything, almost made me question what it’s made with. My food was seriously questionable and likely could cause illness. How does a sushi chef handle a customers food and NOT smell that?! As an avid sushi eater, this is the first unpleasant experience I’ve EVER had in the entire county. Yikes.
