Without a doubt, this is the dodgiest dive bar in all of Florida. It is a perfect disaster in the making. I'm fairly sure the only thing keeping the building from falling into the Anclote River is the habit of standing still for over a hundred years. I had the unique pleasure to sit and enjoy a few beers with the bartender, Cici, and a longtime local patron, Mike. Cici was a great host and shared stories about the old establishment, as did Mike. It is unfortunate that these places are getting mowed over in Florida all in the false claim of "progress". I'm thrilled to have found The Boat Club, and truly hope it survives for another 100 years.

Love this place I frequent fish here and nothing is better than a fishing bar. Drinks aren’t overpriced. Also it’s cash only so it’s a good thing to keep in mind. At night the bar turns on their outside underwater lights and you can see the large snook that live under the bar. Don’t be fooled though these fish are smart been trying to catch one for about 2 years now. No luck yet. All in all great spot! 10/10

Probably the greatest place I've ever been in my life! BUT, it's not for everyone! Place could probably fall in the river with a big gust of wind! That being said, it was amazing! The locals were all super cool! The bartender was an absolute sweetheart and live music was above average! They let us fish from the dock out back and even provided a net! I didn't eat there but I hear they have free hot dogs on Mondays! The toilet I used was nicely shaded but I was told that women should go before they get there!5 stars for the greatest dive in the state for sure, maybe the world!
