The food is incredible, but I witnessed a waitress touch her face and the door, then use her bare hand to touch bread and hand it to a customer. That is unacceptable for food safety standards. Waitresses are also more concerned with doing their side work than ensuring customers have everything they need.

The food is abv avg overall ... service is experienced and to the point ... they give no receipt for use of credit cards ... aggravating to get only a copy of meal order after requesting ...

AFTER THEY RESPONDED:

I doubt that I'm of the insignificant 1%. I've made it more than clear in explaining what I want in my receipt. What a store attitude. I have friends that avoid the place because of that. Vegetarians sometimes eat more than lettuce. I'll be taking a break from their attitude. 3. Stars ... I was being nice.

First time customers that won’t be returning.

Me and my daughter came in for breakfast I ordered my own plate and ordered her something from the kids menu, the kids menu states it comes with a drink included (tea, apple juice, soft drinks) we ordered my daughter apple juice and the woman who took our drink order came back to tell us that they were out of apple juice, I asked for other options and with orange juice being one of them, that’s what we ordered next. They brought us the drinks… then the food & we ate. Our waitress dropped the bill off and I was charged for my child’s drink on top of her kids meal. I notified the waitress to confirm kids drinks were included with the meal but she replied “orange juice is always going to be a charge” well I didn’t know that. I thought we were simply replacing a drink that they were out of stock of. I’m here to say, communication is key and it’s nice to know if something costs extra beforehand instead of being charged for something that you’re assuming to be included since no one is giving you that information that there will be an upcharge. Note to staff: going forward please give as much information about the menu / pricing BEFORE someone makes decisions if you know there is things that are an extra fee. A heads up is always appreciated.

Went in for lunch. Not bad, just okay. Had a BLT and Redneck Benedict with trail side potatoes. Everything was pretty bland, nothing really stood out.

We were staying in New Port Richey this past weekend and tried to patronize some local businesses for breakfast, but we had Toula's in our back pocket just in case because we've been there a couple of times before and knew we'd be in good hands if things in NPR didn't work out. After two attempts where we weren't even given the courtesy of being greeted by hosts at the restaurants we were trying to support, we gave up and hopped in our truck and got on the road to Tarpon Springs. After we arrived, we walked into Toula's and less than 5 seconds after entering the door, a friendly hostess greeted us, pointed at an open table and asked, "Is this one okay?" and had us seated and took our beverage orders just like that, despite it being a very busy Sunday. Just a few moments later, our waitress came by and made sure our coffee was full and warm and offered to take our orders. We watched everyone on the staff that we could see going the extra mile to welcome everyone who walked in the door and we loved it. The food is delightful and delicious, the service is quick, accurate, and so friendly, and we always feel welcome here. We love that when we're here, we feel like we're in a cool mix of people who are visiting from out of town (like us) as well as people who live in the area and those who are stopping for a break while biking on the nearby trail to grab a tasty bite to eat. It's an awesome spot with tasty food and a lovely staff and we can't wait until our next visit. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, Toula's!

What a fabulous little Cafe! We stopped in mid morning on a Sunday, it was busy, but we were seated quickly and our server took out order quickly, pleasantly answering the many questions I had about a few items in the menu. My husband had the redneck eggs Benedict and was very happy with his choice. A very full late of food. I decided on the honey almomd chicken salad sandwich which was absolutely phenomenal! Sweet and creamy, I added lettuce and the crunch was just what it needed, I highly recommend getting on one of their croissants. I tried their pasta salad as well, very out of my comfort zone, and not typically somthing I would go for, but it was very good! A little tangy for me personally but it was a nice contrast to the sweet chicken salad. We decided last minute to grab a blueberry lemon miffun for the road and it was outstanding! Bright flavor and super fresh blueberries. We can't wait to go back!! - the price was also almost unheard of for the times, incredibly reasonable!
