My meeting colleagues recommended BTW for lunch, and I am glad we went there. This restaurant has 3 dining areas; one is like a teahouse bar, one is a typical dining hall, and one is more bar. The owner has BTW decorated in over the top theme decor. The decor for my visit was Alice in Wonderland, and I felt like I was in a fun fantasy world, with a Disneyesque vibe. I was charmed by so many small things that added up to a big wonderful dining experience. Serving staff were top notch, food was delicious, prices were fair.

We went here over Memorial Day weekend with our dog. We had amazing food, drinks and service. I went to their sister cocktail bar for a margarita and brought it over. 10/10!

My burger was delicious, though BTW is very pricey, in my opinion. My friend and I ordered at the same time, and yet my food came out well before hers. We were told it was because we were on different tickets. What cracked us up was when the server came to check on our food... asked us how everything was, and my friend didn't have her order yet...🙄

BTW is fantastic! Super creative menu, friendly knowledgeable staff, delicious food. After ordering at the counter, we received attentive service from Jaelyn and her colleague. My salmon burger was out of this world yummy. I never thought to load avocado, tomato and lettuce on salmon! My husband’s burger was excellent. Great truffle fries. Slightly expensive but generous quantities. Can’t wait to return!

The atmosphere felt really off. The waitress was abrasive, and the food was subpar at best, and very overpriced.
Burgers, waffles, and tacos all made to perfection great fresh smelling tasting experience. Customer service top-of-the-line, very sweet and kind food on point made to perfection great concoction of smells emanating out of the kitchen.

I’ve eaten three times at BTW since they’ve opened and I wasn’t really a fan… until today.
Honestly, the food could have been awful and I still would have given a good review. The guy named Savior (Zavior for those that don’t know him like I do) was absolutely fantastic. He catered to our every need, checked on us multiple times, refilled my drink over and over.
The food was stellar. The Barbacoa taco was probably the best I’ve ever had, but Savior is the reason I’ll come back again and again.
I’m not used to this level of service from a place where you order standing up. Thanks for being awesome.

We recently moved to Tavares and we’ve been to BTW’s cocktail lounge/speak easy like 4 or 5 times now and I have to say the owners need to self-check their staff. We’ve spent $100’s of dollars there in the short time we’ve been here add their entitled staff has this weird attitude as though the customer’s owe them something. We love the vibe, we love the food, but almost every time we’ve been there (with the exception of the first time) we’ve experienced some sort of challenge with their bartender’s, manager, etc.. Last time we were there and in the midst of spending $500+, my daughter didn’t really like one of their craft cocktails and inquired about changing it, and the manager told me “maybe I should go to Apple Bee’s”. Last night we were excited to take one of our friends from Orlando there, and as soon as we walked in we got an attitude from the staff. It was 9:36PM and the first words out of their mouth were, “we’re closing”. Awesome way to greet us! They seem to always have this odd approach that they’re doing us a favor for being there. Their staff is combative, unappreciative, and quite frankly unacceptable. Our family is comprised of a group of “foodies” and we love new and exciting venues. We were so excited about having a cool new place to go to in our new town and most likely would’ve spent $1000’s at BTW in the future, however, I can tell you after my experiences there and considering their unappreciative attitude I will NEVER EVER walk back through their door. I realize I’m only one customer and maybe it doesn’t matter, but I’m hoping the ownership group gets to see this review and feels differently. It’s very disappointing and really a shame.

They were very nice and the place seemed cool and I don't know what I expected from a Midwest-style walking taco but the "chorizo and ground beef mix" in this thing has less flavor than the Doritos in the bag.
DO NOT GET THE GROUND BEEF AND CHORIZO MIX IF YOU LIKE FLAVOR.
However I needed calories before drinking at a wedding and this did that for me.
Just like. Not a LOT of calories. Un Poco calories. Not $15 worth of calories.
