a contacted charissa’s homemade bake shop via messenger. response time was horrid & had to ask for a response several times. after receiving the cake…it was decent. however, there was the discussion before hand about the cake being two tiers & when received it was only one. alongside w the print out of “your name here” on both sides that was pointed out by several guests at my sons party…embarrassing to say the least. it was really a gamble receiving the cake after reading some reviews. disappointed, dissatisfied & won’t be back:( was looking for someone close by to do nice work & take time bc i definitely would’ve been a repeat customer! (tried to attach pic, but won’t let me)

I really wanted to like my experience but unfortunately I can’t say I did . I’m a travel agent and I ordered for my clients arrival 1/22 to be delivered 1/21 so they would have their cookies on arrival . I called the hotel after not hearing from Charissa to find out they weren’t delivered after several phone calls unanswered and texts she finally answered and said she had work late and will drop them off today at 1:30 my clients were at the hotel and checked in by 10 am ! I asked for a picture which she was hesitant to send and when she finally did an hour later and they looked like they had just been iced and still wet . My clients were at the parks so didn’t get the cookies until just now which is not what I wanted to happen . Unfortunately I’ll have to find another vendor because this one is not reliable .

We were unhappy with our cake as the baker was not forthcoming with us. We ordered a cake and sent a picture of specifically what we wanted. What we received was not that. Communication was not the best and the cake was not delivered until the 3rd day of our trip.

LOVE supporting this business! They provide the most amazing cakes and service! Making celebrating at Disney even more magical!

Charissa’s did a great job with our cookies and hot cocoa bombs! The cookies are soooo delicious and we loved them!!

I ordered a gluten free chocolate cake and a board for our anniversary. The cake was the best gluten free cake I have had, not the least bit dry, which gluten free can be. The design on the cake was beautiful. I would recommend Charissa.

The Cocomelon cupcakes and cookies added a nice touch to how we decorated. I was recommended to Charissa’s for great value and last minute services. I’ve ordered 4 orders now in total over the last 8 months..the first order for my guests was delivered on time although I never received notification or a picture as I had asked but the guests were surprised The last 3 orders…not a good experience. The second order- there was little to no communication and I requested my order a week in advance…again the optimistic person in me figured she was swamped. The last two orders (I’m still waiting for delivery and a refund. I ordered last minute for extra magic for a large party at Disney celebrating a special birthday. I knew it was last minute but had read reviews that people did submit these….though in talking to my colleagues, I would’ve known not to even bother I ordered Saturday- received invoice and receipt of payment that I proactively added a tip on for a total for both orders of $68. I attempted multiple times to message her on Facebook- no response so I called Sunday 6/26 at 11:00 and inquired…She told me she would have her assistant check on the invoice as I never received TA discount and I said what time would the deliveries be going out as I have guests at AOA who are doing a pool day. She reminded me that deliveries go out in the afternoon and confirmed my name for the orders. When she confirmed, she said they are finishing the orders and I asked for photos so I could inform the guests of the surprise….. Sunday 6/26 By 8:40pm, both resorts did not receive anything from Charissa’s bakery….I never got any communication after our phone call and have yet to receive any communication or a refund….. As an agent, I will not be ordering anymore from her bake shop. Again, I certainly understand pulling off a last minute order but please don’t say you’re finishing up then talk with me, tell me it will be going out shortly as it’s finishing up then never send a picture, never respond to my messages . I did leave a voicemail requesting my refund…..I was so bummed for my guests?

I stopped by after breakfast next door with one of my kids to pick up a treat for the two members of our party who didn't come to breakfast. We picked up an m&m cookie and a cookie dough cupcake.The cookie tastes like a homemade cookie should. It was crumbly and a good mix of sweet and salty.The cookie dough cupcake cake itself was moist and a delicious chocolate base. The frosting was super sweet. It was a little too sweet for us but not a deal breaker. My kids, of course, were more than happy to demolish all of the frosting.We would definitely swing by again to pick up some surprise sweets and maybe order a cake for a birthday!

Thank you for the PERFECT cake to celebrate my in law’s 50th wedding anniversary! They honeymooned here the year Disney opened Magic Kingdom & it was so special to celebrate them with a private fireworks cruise & beautiful, delicious cake! Ordering & delivering was seamless! Cake was truly as delicious as it was beautiful! Thank you!!

So my sister ordered cookies from you for my birthday last week and she said she had the worse time getting in touch with you and you answering in a respectful time. Terrible service and one of the cookies was messed up as well.

Ordered a Harry Potter cake for my Daughter's birthday. OMG its AMAZING!! Its EXACTLY how I described it to them! Love love It. Will definitely be ordering for Future events!!

I ordered and paid for an Encanto cake months ago for my daughter's birthday. Yesterday, I messaged Charissa's Homemade Bake Shop asking for a delivery time and was told this afternoon. Today, after waiting at my hotel for hours, I messaged Charissa's asking for an estimated delivery time and was told that my order accidentally was placed with tomorrow's tickets. I will not be here tomorrow, so no cake. This is extremely disappointing. I got a refund, but obviously the cake was more important. I would not recommend ordering from here. There are too many reliable bakers in the area to give your business to.
