The cigarette smoking inside kills it for us. Cool place inside and out but the cigarette smoking needs to stop - I hope the owner will consider this change. And yes, there is a difference between cigar smoke and cigarette smoke. We like going here to wind down, the staff are nice and welcoming and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. The outside tables are nice and the chairs are comfortable. Please consider only allowing cigarettes outside - I’m sure we aren’t the only ones.
Hemingway's has great hours, open early AND late. The staff is friendly and personable. The cigar selection is wide and the humidification is spot on. You can enjoy a fine cigar and drink both inside and out. We recommend it!
This place was very gender neutral, not my type of venue. I tried a featured cigar and I think it would of tasted better with the wrapper on. If you are into Prius type drivers and socialism this place might be for you.

A very talented gentleman started this place some years back when I first went looking for a cigar after our pilot brought us into puddle jumpers. Ever since it has been my favorite place to go. When I visit Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis or Leesburg. My wife does not like cigar bars but she absolutely loves this place. My French bulldog absolutely felt at home. I can enjoy a cigar with out her getting overwhelmed by stale smoke. The air flow is just perfect here and has a very Florida room feeling when around the bar. Very comfortable in the summer and super cozy in the winter months with the fire tower heaters that are here. The humidor is well maintained, you might not find everything here but the cigar selection is excellent. Proper range of beers and wines for pairing with cigars. After a nice day of fishing out on the lake and some burgers or steaks near by this place is the best time spent for a beautiful evening.
