Great first try at this 2nd location. Obviously they do cater the menu to the people in this area compared to Eustis where I grew up and went to school my whole life. That Jeannie’s always has a spot in my heart but this one is now gonna have us coming back. Both me and my dad’s breakfasts were on point. Check the pics. Also his meal was the smaller version. COUNTRY JULE.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect, the food was cooked till perfection, the amount is crazy you will never leave hungry… the service is a 10/10 family owned and you can feel the loving atmosphere and their dedication to their product.

Had french toast. It was great, service was great! Cute little place across from courthouse with parking! Clean and decorated nicely. Would go back if in town again. I sat on the covered front patio when finished. Would recommend. The menu has a lot of nice choice. I would try chipped cream beef next time because I didn't see that until reading the reviews ;)

I always like to lift a business up and not tear them down, but this is the worst service experience I have ever had. We arrived at 11:12 and left at 12:40 - almost 90 minutes for Father's Day breakfast. I will preface that this review has nothing to do with being short staffed and needing to wait, it is all based on server mistakes and frankly incompetence.
- At the host stand, she (server 1) got our menus and told us to sit wherever we wanted so we went outside. After some time I realized we didn't even have menus and nobody was coming out. I went inside to ask for menus and seen that the server just left them at the host stand for us, so when we went outside she decided not to bring them to us.
- After some time (and I'll use this term often) nobody came and got our drink order, finally server 1 came. She couldn't take our order because she said server 2 already used our table by mistake. She asked what we wanted to drink and she had to fix the table situation just to take our order.
After some time, server 2 came back with coffee, no cream. She has to come back to give us cream and was quickly leaving until I had to call her back and asked if we could order. She apologized and thought we needed more time. No, we never asked for more time we had been there for at least 20 minutes at that point.
- My husband order a French toast special. I'm a vegan so I ordered toast, hash browns, and peaches, a fairly uncommon order. As we were waiting for our meals, server 2 asked if we wanted more coffee, instead we ordered a water and an unsweet tea with lemon. After some time I went inside to check on our drinks, server 2 was on her way out with another table's drinks and not ours. She saw me and apologized because she forgot our waters. No, not waters, 1 water and 1 tea. By this time, we should have already eaten which we had just gotten our drinks so instead of a rational outside breakfast, it was now too hot, nearly 1 hour. When she finally came back with our drinks we asked if we could go inside. She said our food should be up soon. It is as now noon and we haven't gotten our food.
- Server 1 must have noticed us and came over to apologize because, in her words, because we moved inside, when she went to deliver our food our table was empty so she gave it to another table. What?? 45 minutes, no food and she gave it to another table. I asked how does that even happen, did the other guests not realize? She then reiterated that WE moved our table and Server 2 didn't change it and also these other people also ordered French toast. Remember that specific vegan breakfast I ordered? Who else ordered that?? Incompetence at its finest. We got a very weak apology but definitely made us feel it was OUR fault.
- After some time, we finally got our order., oh yes, and that time I asked for my lemo, it never came without me asking again. My side of toast has one piece of toast so I had to ask Server 1 if there was another piece of toast, she said, yes let me go get it. Again, you've already made several mistakes, would you not be sure our order is correct?
- After we were able to eat, neither server came to check on us. We asked for the check and after some time got it.
- when checking out at the bar, my husband complained which he NEVER does, that's left up to me ☺️, he said that she made him feel like she was trying to blame us. She said sorry you feel that way and I said that was just one mistake of many. She took my card and walked away, "have a great day", didn't even stay to get my printing receipt.
- We have never had such an experience. I know the difference being short staffed and incompetence. Not once did server 2 come back to explain what happened, apologize, or to check on us. Not a manager, nothing. We would never look for a discount, but it was a slap in the face to not even try to make it better. We used to order lunch from them but we will nev

Quaint elegant yet not stuffy. Very clean, great great menu, great prices. The owner and staff are there and friendly, personable. Absolutely will go back again and again.

Ordered the fish fry. The waitress didn't know what kind of fish it was. The fish was really good. The fries were not. Didn't taste fresh and she never came back to check or fill up drinks. I think the waitress needs some training. She said she had only worked there a week. The owner was cooking the food so I don't know if they're short handed or not.
