Found this place by chance and absolutely love it! Amazing food and portions and great drinks as well, love the vibe too. We had Chek now twice and he’s amazing too, even busy he keeps up and remembers what you like so we will be back just wish was closer to us

We asked for coleslaw on the side but they put it on our hotdog. The waitress was not friendly. And after her receiving her tip she made a noise under her breath! I mean really it ain't like I stiffed her LOL we will never eat there again because of the waitress

It's just okay. Not really anything special. Certainly not on the beach. There isn't the beach anywhere near that area ?
They do have live ? music on weekends. ?And you can arrive by boat ?which could be fun. I would have gone there if it was around when I had my boat.
It's really more of a seaplane base grill. So it's a convenient spot to watch the seaplanes come and go. Of course everything is fried.? Girls would be nice ?

Had a great time food was excellent but you need some charging stations for people who are walking around and their phones go dead it'll be nice way to draw people in they would come charge your phone and have a drink or food

It is all outdoor seating which was fine considering the weather was beautiful, but they allow smoking so that was a turn off. I ordered chicken wings that were not ordered extra crispy but came out extra crispy. (Save the disappointment and go to the dog house next door for wings!) The sweet tea is Arizona, not brewed (yuck) and the soda is extremely watered down it was gross. Won't be returning.

Burger that was ordered medium was well done, grouper fingers were over done and fishy, and the fries were under done, sad and limp. We had to wait for friends to get back so would have ordered another drink but when the waitress finally did come back she didn't ask if we needed anything she just threw the tab down and took off. Turns out it was even the wrong bill so we had to wait for that. Wanted to pay cash and would have tipped adequately but we needed change. Waited so long that we had to just deal with the cash we had and wasn't going to over tip at that point so the tip she got was not much but we were out of time, so sorry.

Update: Unfortunately I am lowering my rating for several reasons. Number one, update the menu prices on your website! They are way off/outdated. This visit mid afternoon on a Saturday (9/22) they were not very busy but service was very slow. Lucky for them they have a great location and atmosphere.
My new favorite place for rustic outdoor dining in Tavares. Good food and service at good prices.
