Very neat theme, and the coffee, latte, ect products are great! Employee at the counter was very friendly and helpful! The campfire s'more latte is very tasty! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This ravishing, lovely cafe has such a welcoming atmosphere and had cozy seats too! I ordered a pumpkin chai latte and it’s scrumptious! When you have the chance make a stop here, you won’t regret it! 🩵

I really want to love this place. But something about the seating and the set up of the whole place is just not very inviting. I would love a cozy nook to sit and talk. But the seating here is kinda weird and not conducive to that. Also the seating is very limited. The area where they take your order is also a bit strange, it looks temporary, like a little food cart. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the place. The coffee here is good but I've yet to try anything that really stood out, and I think it's a bit overpriced. My biggest complaint is the service. I've been served by the same girl behind the counter on several of my visits and her less than charming demeanor has definitely stood out. While she's never been rude, she's definitely not very welcoming and just seems annoyed to have to be speaking with you. On our last visit my husband and I both noticed her behavior. We quickly got our coffee and left. This was disappointing. We spent nearly $20 on 2 coffees and a muffin and we didn't even feel like we could sit down for a few minutes to enjoy them. I really hope this place is able to make some improvements to their location as well as to the people who work there.

Great coffee and amazing decore! Ten percent off your order if you’re staying at Citrus Hotel, and $1 refills on black coffee.

Was at a dr appointment at the hospital and found this place based on reviews and proximity to the hospital. Great coffee, I had one of the August specials, Blueberry Crumble Latte, it was great. My husband had the Cinnamon Coconut Sunrise Latte (another August special) and he really liked it as well. Super cute place. Not much sitting area inside but they also have an outdoor area as well.

Cofee was decent, but the pastry was cold... if they are refrigerated means they are not fresh... they asked me if I wanted the danish warmed up, I said no because I thought they were fresh.. I had no Idea they were that cold...

Step back in time to the 1800s & enjoy the simpler times. Exquisite atmosphere, service, price and coffee.
Super cute and chill vibe. Kind of small, not a lot of seating, but what seating they do have is very comfortable. The pastry cabinet is fresh and the coffee is very smooth. The decorations are the selling point. Very creative, very nice, beautiful view of the lake, and the 1930s music play in the background says it over the top.
Of all the coffee shops I have been to, this one is very unique and located right in downtown Tavares on Lake Dora. One of my favorite stories is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and when I walked in here, I fully expected to see Jules Verne and Captain Nemo having coffee!
There are many options to choose from in terms of coffee: cold, hot, iced, frappe, etc... There are also some pastry items as well that you can buy such as muffins, cake pops, Danish's, etc... For the muffins and Danish (these I have tried) they are pretty decent but nothing that stood out greatly to me. If you are looking for something to have with your coffee, they will do.
The coffee and frappes are good, very tasty and they provide plenty of choices with their iced and frappe drinks to choose from and various sizes to choose from.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars for this review is due to the price of items. I work right near this shop and when I went here with a couple of co-workers, we ended up paying roughly $14.00 to get a frappe drink (large) and a Danish. We were not expecting to pay that much. They do have a menu; however, I am not a fan of any establishment who does not post the prices on their wall menus/menu boards. It is a little easier to post pricing on the wall / board menus for all to see instead of a few laminated menus at the register. Not a huge deal, just something to notate. Lesson learned about what to get and just visit as a treat once in a while.
Overall, this is a great place to visit at least once, and I believe that there is something for everyone for a treat. Outside sitting that looks out onto Lake Dora to sit and relax, especially if you are staying at one of the hotels located right there. Staff is super friendly and pretty quick with orders.
This coffee shop is so neat! It is nautical/steam punk themed. Ordered a Butterbeer latte and a chocolate cake pop. Both so good!
I got an Americano 16oz less than $5 friendly staff a short walk from the court house. Was summoned for jury duty wasn't selected so I got to go home. Came here to wait for my ride. It was a good decision. Too bad I'm too broke to try the food.
