I don't write reviews, a lot of the time I feel just leaving a decent tip says how I feel about the food/service. This place changed it. I came with girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon, place was busy, but not crowded, and even with a healthy amount of patrons, the server we had was incredibly quick and exceedingly polite. (He also had some really nice hair too).

The food was delicious and I think they may have had the best fries I've ever tasted, like they ruined fries for me from other restaurants because they can't compare to the overall taste and crispness of those at Ruby Street Grille. I want to be upset about that but I can't, they're amazing.

Left satisfied and smiling, even got a dessert to go which is rare for me, even rarer from just a late lunch / early dinner.

Will be coming back again to try more.

My bf & I came here to get a drink late at night since it was one of two places we saw still open. Great choice. The older bartender was so nice and welcoming. She makes great drinks. The music was a live band. They sounded good to us and the rest of the bar.

Andy and Kathy made us feel super comfortable and welcome. The grilled has an excellent tequila selection, great food and a happening music scene. This will definitely be one of our main hangouts as we snowbird in Lake County.

When I looked online at their menu, there were four different options for pasta. When we get there, there was no options. They did have something cooked up in the back a red pasta meal that wasn’t on the menu and it tasted pasty and stale and plain chicken with chicken. Simple fish and chips was $19. I ordered the fried shrimp which was $15. It came out obviously from a frozen bag of shrimp that you would get from Publix. Either their oil was old or they burnt it. It was a flat burnt piece of shrimp. I had a lemon vodka single shot tall with water as my mixer. The water taste horrible they swore they had a water filter filter. Obviously it needed to be changed like their oil. The only thing they had going for them is that they had a good band and the weather was nice

I had made reservations and we were running late because we had to take care of a post surgery infection. I didn't worry because I have seen them hold tables many times AND they TOOK MY PHONE NUMBER so I assumed that they would CALL or TEXT. They gave our table away at 8:02. We arrived at 8:05. The owner was not there and the manager DID NOTHING to try to accommodate us. We have been spending around $100 every weekend even when it is usually half full. Fortunately there are other places with live music. Turning away loyal customers who regularly spend money every weekend is not good business.

Well what can I say about this place…

We rocked up at the front and when we looked in, we almost didn’t go in! From what we could see it looked like an empty room that looked a bit downtrodden to say the least… then I glimpsed a back room, some people and said let’s go in and give it a try…

I’m extremely glad I did, we went through to the back bar and it was open sided and huge, lots of people were there, Al having fun and we joined in!

They had a fabulous band on called “2am” and boy they could play!

We stayed for dinner and it was really good, we had a fun time watching the band and being looked after by possibly the most friendly and attentive waitress we have ever met.

So don’t think twice about the front bar, go through to the back and have one of the best nights out in Tavares!

We will be back one day!

Last night, a Tuesday, a group wanted to meet there at about 9pm, but there weren't ANY LIGHTED SIGNS OR LIGHTS ON THE FRONT OR BACK, SO I LEFT. It looked closed.

The good music outweighs the awful cigar smoke, and the service was great, but the food is terrible
