I’ve been going to Sunrise Grill for years and have always loved the staff and the overall experience. This is not something I normally do, but I feel it’s important to share. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed an older server smoking cigarettes right out front of the restaurant. I recently watched her come back inside and begin handling and serving food without her wash her hands. That was concerning to me as a customer. I think she said her name was Lisa or Linda. Additionally, I’ve overheard her speaking negatively about other employees while inside the restaurant, which feels unprofessional. I don’t know who goes to other customers and talks about other employees while inside the restaurant. A friend of mine also visited last Thursday and had what sounds like the same server. She mentioned that the server was rude to her husband and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I truly think Sunrise Grill has a wonderful team overall, which is why this stands out. It doesn’t reflect well on an otherwise great business to have someone smoking directly outside, potentially handling food afterward, and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for guests. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback, because I’d love to continue supporting this restaurant

WOW. Food was amazing. Fresh and perfectly seasoned. The customer service and atmosphere had that small town, southern hospitality vibe.
The resturant was fairly packed for a Friday morning, and we had a big to go order for 6 people. They were quick and efficient. Will definitely return whenever we have the chance.

Breakfast great. Not some brunches. Chicken grilled breast..small and dried out. Canned corn cold no taste. Potato whipped too salty and hard. Like instant. Eggs excellent in any form. Coffee good.
