“The Heights Lounge has become my favorite spot in the city, all thanks to Dan. Dan's a mixologist there, and he's not just good - he's on another level. The range of drinks this guy can create is insane. He's got everything from kava and kratom to the best coffee and tea. And the hookah blends - are great. Dan's a great dude to hang out with. He's always got time for a chat, even when the place is packed. He remembers your name, your favorite drink, and he's interested in what you think. The Heights Lounge is fantastic. The vibe is just right - I've brought a bunch of my friends there, and every single one of them likes it. It's rare to find a place like this. If you haven't been to The Heights Lounge, do yourself a favor and check it out. Ask for Dan, tell him what you like, and prepare to have your mind blown. You'll thank me later.“

“We stumbled upon the gem of a restaurant while checking out the info on the Egypt Temple built near our home. Our visit started with a warm greeting from the bartender/waitress Stacey P. who is an amazing ambassador for this venue. She is a wealth of knowledge and a welcoming personality. The food is amazing! I had the Build your own Double Smash Burger which was cooked to perfection. My friend and his wife enjoyed the Prosciutto and fig flat bread and the Smash Burger with Swiss. My wife enjoyed the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and we shared an order of fried mozzarella cheese sticks. It was such an amazing and relaxing experience that I would highly recommend. “Wow! 7th & Grove was the best part of my trip to Tampa. I was greeted at the door by Alicia and she accommodated my party of 5 on the fly! Bri, our waitress was amazing! Quick. Efficient. Friendly. “Mojitos Tampa: you need to be made aware of the fact that what you are charging for bottles of water is ABUSIVE. We were charged $5 per bottle of water. Mind you, this is normal bottled water that comes in cases that can be found for $6 for the WHOLE CASE. First of all, we didn’t ask for water in a bottle. Restaurants are supposed to provide their customers with FREE ice water in glasses. Second of all, this wasn’t bubble water or any kind of fancy soda water. And third… this is a price gouging situation that should be amended ASAP. You cannot charge FIVE dollars for one bottle of water like that. The maximum that should be charged for drinking water like that in a plastic bottle that was purchased wholesale most likely arguably should be $1.50, if that. This is an unacceptable business practice. Besides this price gouging, we had a nice experience and the food and other drinks were good and reasonably priced.“

“I think some of the reviews here may be misplaced—this thread is specifically for rating the Meat Market Lounge. I reached out to Kate about a week before a very important birthday celebration, and she was incredibly responsive, communicating with me via text. It was so convenient, and she was thorough and followed through on everything she promised. Shortly after, I was passed off to Hunter, who assured me that the event I’d booked—a celebration for six guests—would be a unique and memorable experience. I asked him if everyone would have plenty to drink and eat, and he guaranteed they would—and he absolutely kept his word.

The experience was truly one-of-a-kind. For three straight hours, Hunter and his wonderful, attentive team brought out dish after dish, each one feeling special and delicious. The entertainment was engaging, and they even allowed us to do a birthday shout-out. There were only about 20 guests in the lounge, making the event feel private and exclusive—so unique and intimate.

I entertain often, and I’m typically very critical, but they completely blew me away. I couldn’t wait to write this review and share my experience. This will definitely be my go-to venue from now on!“

For a first time visit, the food showed up incredibly fast and the service was so smooth and courteous.

Food was PHENOMENAL. Everything was so balanced in flavor.

The chorizo flatbread was insane. The truffle fries were rich.

The star of the show though... the chorizo stuffed dates... if there is any one thing you get its that.

“Great rooftop bar in the heart of Tampa, great view and even better drinks. It wasn't crowded when we went and the weather was perfect. The bartender was a nice fellow who taught me about some cocktails. I recommend the Old Fashioned with Woodward Reserve Kentucky Bourbon. Best I've ever had!“
