The food was great and the cooks always made sure the food never ran out but the service from the staff was absolutely terrible, non-existent really. The waitress made eye contact multiple times with us while we were trying to get her attention and chose to ignore us and keep talking, gave us the wrong drinks, never came back to check on us so we went the whole time without drinks, couldn’t remember which table/person ordered what, and honestly, was rude. My partners and I went here for lunch; this was my 1st time. I'm SO glad we decided to go. ?, they're closing - forever - after Christmas Eve. This I'd is nothing short of a travesty! That food is outta this f@#%*@@g world. I had some of the fried okra & immediately began to plot on "how can I get that pot of okra outta this joint, on the sly?" ... But, ya gotta get there by Dec. 24th, or you're outta luck & would've missed out on a Tampa landmark (imo) & some of the best food...read full review
It's been awhile since I've been here, and the place has really changed. It's brighter and cleaner. The whole time I was there, people were cleaning. The food has always been delicious to me, and this trip was no different. I think it's a wonderful place to go to for a buffet and it was reasonably priced.
