“My family and I visited Olive Tree By Chef Yousef restaurant for the first time yesterday, and we were BLOWN away by the food- so much so that I felt it was definitely worth mentioning in this group! It's a bit of a drive as it's located in Tampa, but definitely worth the drive if you LOVE Middle Eastern food! 🇯🇴♥️🇯🇴 Absolutely everything we ordered was PERFECTION! The quality for food and the juiciness of the meats were unmatched. My favorite being the Mansaf, the national dish of Jordan was phenomenal - the lamb was so tender, it falls off the bone! The hot yogurt sauce that comes with it was so rich in flavor and creamy, it was AHHHHmazing! So rich with flavors I've never experienced before but quickly fell in love with! We also tried the Olive Tree feast which comes with a little bit of everything- it came with salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic sauce as well as a mix of meats. We're talking filet mignon, kufta shish kebab, chicken kebab!!! Absolutely EVERY SINGLE THING we tried was SOOO delicious! We will definitely be eating there again soon! “Everything about this restaurant is top notch!!! From the greeting that you receive from the owners as you walk in for lunch or dinner to the mouth watering food that you will absolutely love!!! We have tried several different dishes. The salad was fresh and so delicious with so many flavors. (Many to choose from) The steak and cheese sandwich is big enough to share and absolutely mouthwatering. (the fries are great too) The chimichurri steak or chicken is outstanding!!! They serve the very best grape leaves we have ever had. They have a burger on the menu that is literally the absolute best burger hands down!!! All their food is made fresh. You can definitely taste love in each and every bite. I haven't even mentioned dessert but I'm telling you that their dessert case has some incredibly delicious choices. We love this restaurant so much that we plan to order and try each thing on the menu because everything that we have ordered so far is out of this world. Please do yourself a favor and go. The bowls are packed with so much yummy goodness and the cucumber yogurt has that amazing taste of garlic in it! 😍🤤 The falafel is perfectly seasoned and sesame on it makes it even tastier than it already is.
