This place has been here for decades, and the owners are great and everything is fantastic. Sid gets the fruit from local growers and always has the best around, and his wife Vera makes the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Everyone should support local, especially the original locals! They have all the homemade goodies, jams, candy, ice cream, etc, and the best Florida nicknacks, better than the tourist traps. Must shop here!

The Citrus Place has the perfect Florida feel to it with all kinds of knick-knacks and treats. I however, go for the soft serve ice cream. The orange and vanilla is incredible, as is the key lime and chocolate. Overall, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the treats are affordable and yummy!

Augie Conde and I stopped at THE CITRUS PLACE on our trip home from St Petersburg last week. It's a really cool old school Florida souvenir shop and citrus market. It's located on route 301 just off of the first exit from the southbound side of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. It's owned by Trish and Carole.
