There is no such thing as Gluten Friendly. I am GF and need menu marked as such. Not a gluten friendly menu. GF is a serious condition and not a choice. The waiter didn't have a clue about GF. Also offering GF bread would be appreciated. Most of it is available frozen.
Waiter was very different, never asked if we needed more to drink, tried to be funny but was more obnoxious!
Small, local place in Southern Trace area of The Villages. We went for a 2:30 late lunch. Had a reservation. But it was not busy so not needed. Food was hot, fresh and good. Staff was nice and we were seated right away. Worth the price of the meal. I had fish and chips and was surprised at getting two pieces of fish. My mate ordered a burger and said it was terrific; she does not eat fish.
Husband loved fish and chips; very tasty. We were both disappointed with the au gratins. They didn't look or taste nearly as good as the picture on your Website! Actually blah tasting. Big chunks of potato with cheese and paprika not really au gratins. Loved the paper plane cocktail.
Outstanding Wicked themed dinner. Food and drinks were outstanding. The Bonefish team were wonderful! Can't wait until their next theme dinner Nov 20!!
A simple dinner, fish and chips. Arrived tepid and oily. Huge disappointment. They offered to replace but considering the length of time to be served, I didn't want to get the replacement after the others at the table finished their main courses. I left more than half uneaten. They took off $10. Will not return. Suggest looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.
Popular place, so very crowded and noisy. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes—it was okay this time because we were able to grab 2 seats at the bar and get a drink. Wine and cocktail both reasonably priced and tasty. Our waitress was minimally pleasant—she never smiled the entire time, very indifferent. Each person in our party of four ordered a different meal and, all of the food was reportedly delicious!
Our favorite...bang bang shrimp...tasted burnt and the sauce was bland. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and scallop pasta, but my blackened ahi had little flavor. Drinks were great and our server was great. We've never been disappointed at Bonefish. It was very busy so the cooks may not have been at their best.
They need to learn how to cook swordfish. My wife's was good as it was a thicker piece and you could cut it with a fork. Mine was thinner and was like rubber. I sent it back in the second one was worse.
Arrived for our reservation for 2. Sat down at our booth and waited just short of 15 minutes for our server to come and introduce herself and ask what we would like to drink, etc. Food was a bit overcooked - Filet and Salmon.

In the past we have always enjoyed Bonefish. However last nights dinner was a bust. I had sea bass. It tasted mushy and overcooked. The asparagus was stringy, very overcooked and tasted like canned. My husband said his broccoli was inedible. My salad was good. My poor husband apologized 5 times since it was my birthday dinner. We had dessert to go and hubby said it was good. Our meal felt rushed. Our waitress was really great, however. I'm not too anxious to visit again soon.
The reservation process was very good. We were there on tine. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were told that they were having trouble with the new system. After about 7 or 8 more minutes, we were seated. The restaurant was not crowded at all.
Even with a reservation we waited 45 minutes for our food, which was just soup and salad. Server was almost nowhere and, when we politely pointed out to her that she brought the wrong salad, she claimed we had ordered it incorrectly and made no attempt to correct it. We asked for the check and got it delivered with a serving of sarcasm. As for the food, it continues to disappoint. This visit was one last attempt at redemption after we ordered home fries last time and got a pile of chopped up French fries. We won't be back and cannot recommend.
Shrimp and scallops and rice were very good broccoli was not. Not 100% sure but the broccoli seemed like it came from a frozen bag. Not what I would expect from this type restaurant. Waitress offered another serving but probably would have been the same outcome. It was edible and that’s all.
The Imperial Dip was AMAZING!! Kathy enjoyed her pumpkin ravioli and I. Had the fish and chips with malt vinegar instead of ketchup. Absolutely delicious and no complaints at all.
