there are some tables but it’s mostly a takeout place. The food is fresh and tasty.

By far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ordered General Tsos Chicken. It was all breading, no chicken! It was gross! Vegetable fried rice not great. Egg roll not very good. Won't be going back.

I have ordered from here couple times... I ordered chicken fried rice and it just wasn't good! Very little chicken ir even egg, rice not completely cooked not much flavor. I was very excited when they first opened bc there wasn't much down in everglades shopping area. Staff is nice and restaurant clean...but think I will order from somewhere else.

I got a Bourban Chicken combo. Meat was gross and tasted fishy. The sauce was not good. The fried rice was gross and old. Nice people and good service but the food was not good at all. Won’t be back. Sad because I wanted it to be good.

Terrific surprise! Ordered dinner twice from China Chef. Food was very enjoyable. Portions were enormous. It used to be that the ONLY reliable flavorful Chinese restaurant in or near The Villages was Yummy House in Ocala. China Chef may indeed change that.

Blah!!! The worst Chinese food I have eaten in decades. Tasteless doesn't begin to describe the awful taste of this food. How do you mess up Chinese food? Believe me. This place found a way. The sauce simply had no flavor. The traffic in and out the door amazed me. Don't people realize they are getting wok crap? It is rare that a put a restaurant on blast but my cannons are firing with large shells on this one. Never, ever again. Even the Master Chef could not save China Chef. The people who prepared our meals would do better selling tires.

We ordered the Gen Tso chicken which was ready on our arrival and hot when we returned home. Portion size was generous for both chicken and egg fried rice (x$).Though showing a chili pepper on the menu, the heat level was about a 2.I would return and try other dishes.

All of it is just pre made they just add sauce and hand it out. It's fast but not good.
