We were very happy with our meal and service. I loved the French onion soup, and we both enjoyed the steak chop salad and Creme Brule for desert.

Great food. Enjoyed our dinner. Nicki (sp?) our waitress last night was a pro, excellent and she tried real hard. However, she was very stretched and could have used more help/support. The musician playing added to the atmosphere. The vegetables I had were very good. The 10 oz rib steak was truly delicious! Fabulous.

Dark chocolate cheesecake was melt in your mouth good!My server Maddie was outstanding also. She made the experience.Parking: Plenty of options and handicap assessable also.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Chop House on a Saturday night. We were incredibly impressed with the service we received, particularly our server Yordanka. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Even though she was looking after a number of tables we felt extremely well looked after. The food was also excellent. I had the fillet mignon and my husband had the surf and turf. The steaks were flavourful and the lobster was sweet and tender. We were pleasantly surprised by a decadent dessert presented to me in celebration of my birthday. We make a point of enjoying the Chop House every winter when we come down to Florida. The food is great, the service is exceptional and we love the outdoor patio. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a five star experience.

Service was the worst we ever had. Forgot our appetizer, I got asparagus instead of mushrooms, 1/3 of filet was fat, and to top it off, even though I wrote my phone number on the bill, no FMK points were added. I’ll chalk it up to the server having a bad day!Cile MacKinnon

a bad night!!!! Salad delivered with entree, Salad ordered with dressing arrived soaked in dressing, entree received raw and burnt, entree arrived could not chew it, replacement shrimp raw, never received beverages ordered, manager was obviously unhappy with our complaints. I did not reflect issues in our tip, although we were not happy with service. this was not our typical experience

Good atmosphere but lousy Ribeye steak. So much gristle. I expect some fat but it was poor. I’ve had a lot of great ribeyes and I’ve had bad ones. This one hit a 2 out of 10. Very expensive for the quality.

Our first dinner at the Chop House. Pre-dinner rolls were excellent. Our server was especially accommodating. He brought me a sample of a red wine at my request. I didn’t like it and chose the Shiraz which was great. Manhattan with house bourbon was acceptable. Our dining partners thoroughly enjoyed their fig with pork medallions and pork chop.My husband and I both ordered the lamb shank. He was disappointed that it was dry. I took 2 bites, found it to be moist but I seriously disliked the mint flavor. I sent my meal back in exchange for redfish with rice (on special) which was outstanding. The creamed spinach was excellent. Our server was absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed dining outside. We’ll go back and try different menu choices.

First time at Chop House and it won't be our last. The service and food were amazing. Fantastic soup, surprised there was only one soup to choose, however ,it was great. The ambiance is elegant. We don't live at The Villages, yet we have been to a few restaurants there and this, by far, has been our favorite so far. Disappointed they ran out of the bread pudding so early in the evening, ( 4:30pm reservation )
