5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. My hubby and I have been to many dining places in The Villages. We have had a few disappointments in some of the establishments but never at City Fire… it’s our “ to go to place” if we don’t know where to go when we visit The Villages. This place was packed when we were in Brownwood a few days earlier for the Trump golf cart parade/rally, but this time only the inside seating was busy and there was room at the outside bar so we sat there. We had the black and blue flatbread and it was absolutely phenomenal! It's nice that they give you a bit of each ingredient on every bite such as one tomato per square and so on. The marinated steak they had on it had great seasoning which obviously sirloin typically requires!...
