Food was good service was slow view was beautiful

Good food, great prices, and amazing staff. We recently moved to the Villages and were told to check out Cody's great all day happy hour offerings. It's becoming our go-to casual lunch or dinner spot.

Did always enjoy the mud slides but they are not even close to what they use to be. Kinda Disappointed.

No view, but the interior is full of interesting items to ponder. A staple for us

We were told there was a 30 minute wait, so we took the beeper and went outside to wait. Forty minutes later we went back inside to check. They were seating walk-ins. Couldn’t find our party, so they sat us.
Waitress finally arrived, and seemed angry. Took our drink order. Then a long wait for drinks. Long wait for her to return to take order. The waitress returned to say they were out of mashed potatoes, so we changed the order. Then another long wait for food. We requested no onions in salad, waitress says no problem. The salad had onions, and we were never offered more, supposed to be bottomless salad. One person did not receive their plate for a long while. Then they received the wrong meat. Asked for beverage refills, and never got them. The table next to ours’ ordered before us, and was still waiting for their food when we left. We had to ask for the bill.
All of our food was excellent, but it was not worth the horrible service. 😕

Fun place! Great food, service, and value!

It is a great place to have a get-together with friends or family. Lots of TV's for the sports fanatics. Food is also good. Tons of beer for the beer crazies.....

Service is consistently atrocious at this location. Brownwood is excellent, but Sumter Landing is awful. I'm not going to bore you with the specifics, just don't expect good service.

buy one get one free drinks and they are not shy on the pour very friendly staff we got the wings juicy and meaty. would recommend a million times ,new jersey needs a Cody and the view is awesome.

Great dinner here tonight. Cody’s has a wide range of options on the menu and a great selection of drinks as well.
I think this will be our new favourite place to dine.

25 minutes and nobody took care of us.

For the first time two of the four meals were sent back even when returned one still wasn't right. I also noticed other meals being returned, maybe it was just a bad night. Not a night for first timmers. Also had reservations in front at the last minute they sat us in the rear within that dam door opening and closing every 5 seconds ? all in all not the usual fun, easy night. Highlight was our waitress, Melissa, we always ask for her, she is a jem.
