Food was okay. Service was terrible. We got our drinks and order taken, then didn’t see our server for at least 30-40 minutes. We went to the bar to ask for lime wedges just to be ignored and another customer had to tell the bartender we needed help. Not a good first impression. Will not return.

Walked in to eat on 11/9/2024 and was greeted and told they couldn’t seat anyone till after the games were over cuz all the tables were full. I said fine walked outside to go eat some where else and could count through the windows and outside seating “which was being used tonight” at least twelve empty tables. To not be given at least a real time frame not just “till the games are over” probably would have kept me from leaving this review.

Worst food ever. The grease they use for frying o ion pedals and fries was old. Chemical taste from oil used on toasted buns. Will not be back. The rest of our group said the same of their food. Waste of money.

Rude service, your managers need to handle their staff. Will not return, and will recommend nobody else go to this establishment. Just disappointed. I give you my money and this is how you treat me.

Tonight on Halloween night at about 9:30 pm my family and I decided to get a bite to eat after trick or treating, we came to Gators where we’ve been times before. We had an amazing evening up until our order was taken. Shortly after we encountered a situation that was just disgusting.
My 2 year old daughter was fussy, and was crying. We had given her everything we could think of to calm her but she was cranky and a bit hungry. We never thought that an upset baby would be so upsetting to another person. We know most are retired.. but never knew some lacked common decency. A lady came from the bar, leaned over the ledge above the booths in front of us and repeatedly YELLED at us to get her out of there; at first I thought it was a joke but after the 3rd time she yelled it I knew it wasn’t. I have worked in the restaurant industry since I was 16, and was even a general manager at a location near by and I never once have seen such an insensitive human being like herself. I told her my daughter is Autistic and she continued to tell us to leave and that we needed to get her out of there. Her yelling in turn upset my daughter more as now she sees me telling her to mind her own business, that my daughter is disabled and assuring that once she sees her french fries she will be happy. It didn’t end there though, the women kept yelling at us, and an awesome employee did her best at defending us (I wish I knew her name, but Gators dockside should feel lucky to know they have an employee that stands for what’s right) she did let me know it was one of their “regulars” that the night prior she was also very nasty with her too. Then the manager comes over, with an apology that seemed far from sincere, gave us a discount; as they are trained to do when things go wrong.. (nothing special we still paid more than $120) and I let him know I’m so sorry she’s just hungry and she’s autistic. He then proceeds to tell me that “IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS AUTISTIC THEN GATORS DOCKSIDE PROBABLY ISNT THE PLACE SHE SHOULD BE”. I have never dealt with someone so close-minded in my life.. am I missing something? Is discrimination against a disabled child a thing at gators dockside? & why would anyone ever think that this behavior is okay? I know we live near the villages but the entitlement for some is ridiculous.. We as her parents already feel under pressure enough but she is usually well behaved.. we just wanted a quick bite to eat.. this left a sour taste in my mouth. Disappointment is an understatement. If I were corporate I would feel ashamed and embarrassed of how the manager handled this.

doordash customer here. this place is unwilling to have drinks on their menu. when i called the store to have them add it themself they were unable to, and unwilling take a card payment over the phone to add it. i personally feel like its bad business to lose a customer over some drinks. if i was managing this place or the owner id happily provide the drinks and even wave the fee for the inconvenience

Great food that is consistent with the flavors and quality I expect and receive from other locations of this chain. The thing that makes this location stand out is the pet friendly patio. It's a great place to meet family and friends.

Great place to watch NFL or College Football. BUT, Our food was NASTY, burnt, burnt to the point where you could barely eat it, the entire place was grossly understaffed, our server never returned to ask how out food was, it took another 10 mins to her to pay the check. We.would.go back.to.watch a game, but NEVER EVER eat there again. Very bad food prep.
