We arrived at Glenview meeting friends from out of town. Asked for a table outside. The host passed us off to a waiter, didn't get his name (slicked back hair with a ponytail). We walked out to the patio and he asked where we wanted to sit. We said in the shade, all the tables were in the sun. I mentioned that we could tilt the umbrella and he said "no, you can't do that, they will break'. So we took a table in the sun and sweltered. Another table came in after...
We went down for vacation and went for an early dinner. I had the chicken parmesan which looked like an entire chicken. In fact I got 3 meals out of it. My husband had the prime rib. He was disappointed. It was very salty and tough. Our server was wonderful. She kept everyone's glasses filled and got rid of the dirty plates quickly.
As I dug into the Southwest salad, the blend of flavors hit just right. The crisp romaine, crunchy tortilla strips, and tangy dressing complemented the hearty black beans and corn. Each bite was a satisfying mix of textures, with a slight kick from the jalapeños. The salad was fresh, light, and packed with flavor—a perfect balance for a quick, tasty meal.
