We went several times last week. Great ambiance, delicious tavern food. Loved the corn beef & cabbage mushrooms!
We had the best waitress, Megan, lucked out getting her twice.
Megan was very proficient but more importantly she went along with our craziness and even contributed to our antics. We had so much fun!
We will definitely go back again and request to have her!

Lunch for two with just ice tea to drink came to $50 with tip. I had The Villages Grown Salad. It was 4 cucumber slices, 4 cherry tomatoes, watermelon radish sticks and lettuce for $16.95. No cooking of anything and it was more than my husband's meal. There was no protein, no cheese, not nuts, nothing extra. If you wanted to add protein that started at $6.00 driving up the salad cost to $22.95. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries it cost $15.95. The cost of the salad seems way over priced compared to a sandwich and fries that had to be cooked. Even the price of the sandwich and fries seems high. You could get it at other places for around $12.
It's ashame because the restaurant was almost empty. It is one of the few options at this end of The Villages. We would go more often if the prices weren't so high for what you get. A lunch menu would be nice as well. But we probably won't be returning. Hard to afford a $50 lunch very often. It's cheaper and better to eat at one of the country clubs or even the higher end restaurants at the squares.

We enjoy Mcgradys for their happy hour and eat dinner their 50%of the time. Tonight we had the Happy hour Wings. They were bloody and rubbery. They apologized and refunded half of the price. That is an insult to regulars. Very disappointed with today's Management.
