It's been a minute since we've been to steak 'n shake and was really looking forward to one of your delicious Frisco melts and a chocolate shake. Only way to order was kiosks, and someone came in with the wrong order, presumably ordered off the kiosk, so we left. Really prefer interaction with someone at a restaurant. I question the savings realized, considering How much market share are you losing!

I haven't really been eating out for the past year. So I haven't been mistaken shake in a while and things have changed. It's almost completely orgated, so there's no servers anymore, so dining in is just basically your order, your food and then they call your name and you come get it. The shake was terrible. I don't know what happened to the. I used to love those shakes. It was, I mean, it wasn't terrible, but it didn't taste good like I like it. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was dull. You know, it was like I said. No server, no person to take your order. You just go up to a kiosk, and then somebody says your name.

If they know the soda machine is broke they won’t tell you anything and serve you flat soda and when you tell them something they say there’s nothing they can do. Out of 4 orders they couldn’t get one right

We were the only table there for most of the time.

Food was average.

The place highly...highly! smelled of French fries and burgers... like when you leave a McDonald's... but worse. The kitchen grill and fryer vent fans were off?? (I was in the restaurant biz for 10 years and have worked the line before, and have never almost walked out before due to overwhelming hamburger-place aroma...but this was nuts...and we were there at an obvious slump time.) Why sooooo much smokey smell? Clean the vent filters or turn on the vent-a-hood fans.

Look at the pics of the shake we got. Filled maybe 75%, yet the store's pic of a similar shake (but with M&Ms) was much fuller. Either pull the large marketing (from a by-gone era??) false photo, or fill your product like in the pic.

Food was meh.

There was nobody at the four do-it-yourself touch screens. Plus, see my pic, but they have the balls to actually ask for a tip! Huh? You did nothing, folks. I ordered my own food, got my own condiments and utensils, and had to bus my own table.

Do yourself a favor, go to Culver's nearby.

The food was good , but the cook , cook the food and deliver it to. You put your own order in also. No waitress.

My hamburger 🍔 covered about half of the bun...have never seen such a small burger. I took a picture if they are interested in seeing what the customers are receiving. The man in the booth next to me sent his hot dog back because it was ice cold. French fries were good. They were out of coke. Not sure I'll be back.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Steak and Shake. After ordering through the drive-through, I was shocked to find that the bread in my meal was burnt to a crisp and completely inedible. When I tried to call the restaurant to address the issue, no one answered.

It was disheartening to encounter staff who seemed uninterested in providing good service. There was no greeting, and when I asked questions, I felt like I was being treated as a nuisance rather than a customer. I expected better from a well-known establishment. I would like to request a refund for the unsatisfactory meal I received. Hopefully, this feedback can help improve their service in the future.
