The Back Porch Mulberry

This was our 2nd time here. Food was great. The 1st time we were here, I had the Shrimp Alfredo, which was some of the best i have had. This time, my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie and I had the pulled pork. The pot pie was the perfect comfort food. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. The coleslaw was fresh and mashed potatos were made perfectly. Another great restaurant in The Villages. If you get a chance, check them out for good food and service.

Already raised prices and limited options. Can't opt a side salad for a side without paying 7 bucks! 😂😢

I ordered the chicken pot pie for dinner. The chicken was too chewy and the mash potatoes were mixed into the pie. I wasn’t a fan of the meal.

Food and service were excellent and prices were so reasonable but what appears to be dust, mold, mildew on the exposed rafters and AC ductwork throughout the ceiling, was a major distraction. What might drop from the ceiling onto food was also concerning

We are weekly regulars at Back Porch Mulberry, but were extremely disappointed last night when we sat at a table for 20 minutes plus, without anyone even attempting to take a drink order, let alone food order. It looked as though there was a private party going on out on the porch, and all staff was taking care of that and not paying any attention to anyone sitting inside. We actually got up and left.

Only giving four stars because i asked for no horseradish on my prime rib sandwich and got a ton of horseradish on it. But our server alyssa took care of it and offered a new sandwich and gave us fries.

First time here, quick stop for lunch break. Friendly waitress and the food was okay. My black bean burger was kinda dry. Best tasting Arnold Palmer 😄

A nice, quiet lunch spot with good food at reasonable prices!

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon in June 2025. There was not much of a crowd at all, and we enjoyed the service and the food, both of which were good but not great.

She got the buffalo shrimp and I got the Cuban and we would recommend both of those meals. They had a 90s music station playing which was great!

Plenty of parking is available, even during peak hours. I would definitely recommend stopping in here once to give them a shot.

A Sunday evening, very few dinners (are they open?)... BUT, great service, large portions, and low prices makes for a return visit very soon.
