The Legacy Restaurant at Nancy Lopez Country Club

We went to the lunchtime cooking class. BEWARE. There was very little real teaching, mostly the chef talked constantly, and about himself.
We were seated toward the back of the room, so to see any 'cooking' we had to use the over-head mirror.......however the mirror was cloudy because of a pot of boiling water on the demo table.
The appetizer was lukewarm and too big, while the main course was port loin, so tough that they should have served it with a steak knife.
They did serve enough wine/cocktails, but this is a poor value at $60.00/pp.

The Legacy Restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Everything I have ever ordered is great.

Birthday dinner

One of my favorite restaurants in The Village. Consistently good and always busy!

Nicely done.

Jus sat at the bar, had a couple appetizers and couple glasses of wine.

Food was great.
Coconut Churry Shrimp. Good flavor, fresh shrimp.
Maple Bourbon Scallops. They were nice, maybe a little tough, but would get them again.

We just had house wines (four glasses). I think the next time we return, we will order up on the wine. The wine was weak. But this was our choice.

Service was great. The whole bar staff was on top of their game and always checking in with us.

Ambiance, straight out of the 60's. But we knew that going in, so it was fun.

What a great experience and amazing food to match! Never have we ever had a steak, so tender! But we think the best thing about it was the service and the Care that our waiter Sureen gave to us. When we first arrived, he introduced us to the restaurant, the highlights on the menu, his favorites, ladies and gentlemen‘s favorites. He paid close attention to what we might like, and gave wonderful suggestions. He was also very polite, attentive, and made the experience wonderful for our wedding anniversary. The gluten-free options were plentiful , and they catered to it. Highly recommend this restaurant, and our waiter, Sureen who was wonderful! It was such a great experience that my husband and I joined the VIP club! Of course, for those of you that follow, photos of food have started to be eaten! Lol

After years of requesting the return of the appetizer Lobster al Forno, it is back on the menu. Mmmmm

Met with an old school friend at Legacy Restaurant for lunch this past Sunday. My first time there and everything was great. Great ambiance, Great Food, Great prices and Great service, I will definitely be back. Our server was Alondra, she was absolutely fantastic, gave great recommendations, impeccable service and pretty too. I highly recommend her and the entire staff here.

My wife and I had a very nice lunch on the patio today. The food was excellent, but the star today was our waiter, Chase. This young man is a true professional and the finest waiter we have been served by since we moved to The Villages 5 1/2 years ago! His excellent service is because he truly cares about providing his guests with a remarkable experience.Thank you Chase!!!!

The food never fails to impress except for the salmon wellington. Avoid that.

Our experience was excellent. The est part was our server, Renada 9hopefully spelled correctly).
She was friendly, with a wonderful sense of humor. She was professional, and because of her, our pleasant experience was outstanding.
As a former business owner, I was hired almost all of the employees working at my company. Renada is exactly the type of person I would want on my staff.
If I could, I would clone her and have a full staff made up of employees just like her.

The food was good and bad. There were four of us, and one of the meals (lobster & grouper) had to be redone twice and the lobster was still like mush. The short Rib Risotto was quite good, and the fish and shrimp dinner was good as well. Their Carrot cake was EXCELLENT!
