This place reminds me of an old Florida fish camp. There's a swimming area and a dock for your boat or kayak. It's not fancy and it's very rustic. Seating is in a screened area and there's seating out by the water. The woman working was nice and very friendly. The music playing was a bit country and old rock. The view was nice where I sat.I ordered the Bobby breakfast which consists of 2 eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, and bacon. It looked good plated. It wasn't bad but I did find a hair in the gravy. The coffee was hot and a bit weak.It is a place I'd won't try again anytime soon.

Parking: Parking is limited and the area is uneven for walking.

Nice location on the Lake. Food was fairly cheap which is good. The fish recommended on earlier reviews was not available. Menu was fairly limited and the burger was like a cheap burger from Costco, not very nice. However, the fries were good and the club sandwich was good. Carrots on the salad looked a bit stale. Coffee was decent. The male and female toilets looked like they need serious refurb (replace the toilets). Also, there were big potholes in the ground on the outside so perhaps not 100% safe for kids, definitely lacking in maintenance. Not sure why they charge $10 for the boat launch when there is a public boat launch just down the road, or why they charge $5 entry to the beach. The boat launch area would be better used for additional parking. Recommend that they invest in additional staff and improving the menu and quality of the food. I would be willing to pay a bit more, it is located in an affluent area and they could make this into a decent place if they charged more and provided better quality food.

Not at all what we expected. It's basically a food truck attached to a run down shed with some lawn furniture near the shore of a not so pristine lake. It's $5 per person to sit at the lawn furniture and $10 to use a less than pitiful boat ramp. Not somewhere we will go again.

I ate here last weekend, the atmosphere was great, on the other hand i waited an hour an a half for my burger, when the owner finally brought it out, it was 2 blts rather than burger and fries. Also the food that was brought out you had to fight the flies off of it. I honestly wont be a return customer!

Found this place on Google. Great view of the lake. Owner was our server and cook. Food was good and she even gave us some delicious key lime pie!

Honestly, it is one of my favorite places to visit in my area. My little family and I spent the entire afternoon here. It was the perfect spot to just relax and swim/kayak for the day. I am looking forward to spending our summer days here!

Hands Down the best view of any restaurant in the Brandon Area. Spectacular sunset overlooking Thonotosassa Lake. Not to mention the delicious food, homemade lemonade and great atmosphere. Callie, the owner, was so friendly and inviting. We had a great experience and we will definitely be back. Don't leave without tasting her amazing home-made carrot cake.

I am really not sure how this place has 5 stars. I'm usually pretty easily satisfied when it comes to food. The service and scenery was okay, but the food was not great. I would put it on par with going to a family cookout and the food not prepared by mom or grandma. It was about as good as the food the aunt that is usually ask to bring cups and chips might make if you she brought food.My bbq pulled pork was not cooked in bbq sauce, but rather was a wet mess that had bbq put on top, and mad the dollar store brand bun a soggy mess. My daughter got a chili dog and it was the whitest, over boiled hotdog, with some basic Hormel chili mix and cheez-wiz put on top. The fries were about 1 minute off burnt.

Must Try the pulled pork and the carrot cake. Everything is homemade and it is fantastic. The servers are amazing, very friendly. You will not find a view like this place anywhere else. The prices are very good in these crazy times. Come out and support this lovely lakeside small family owned business.

The people that work here are very nice, super friendly. The atmosphere couldn't be better. The burger was disappointing, very much like what you would get at a concession stand. I didn't eat dessert but they looked good and people that did get them said they were delicious.

Had the pleasure of having lunch at this quiet, lakeside restaurant. We met friends midpoint to eat and visit and since we were unfamiliar with the area, I googled the info. We had a delicious lunch, and we were able to enjoy our visit and enjoy the wide life. There’s nothing fancy, but it has a relaxing atmosphere that was much needed and very much appreciated.
