The Island Grille & Raw Bar

Started with the Island margarita and made it spicy, delicious! Next we had the steamed shrimp, very good but only came with one piece of bread for two of us. Steamed oysters were the high point, not a lot of places serve them steamed, so I was very satisfied with the dozen I ordered! The coconut curry scallops were good, a bit salty, served with yellow rice and asparagus. The shrimp scampi was a bit underwhelming. It seemed like the same shrimp as our appetizer just served over oil and butter in a cassolet and when I think scampi it's over some type of pasta or rice. All in all the view was amazing and the bartender was attentive. I'll definitely go back at sunset and order steamed oysters again!

Frequent customer and always happy. A place that might look like a tourist trap, but is actually delicious and one of our favorites on the water. The prices make sense for the location and the quality is really good. We typically have great wait staff and usually get our food and drinks quickly. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area and worth the drive if you aren’t!

Made the trip over from Tampa after a friend recommended this spot, and I’m so glad I did! Jordyn made me feel incredibly welcome, shared some great local things to check out, and gave the best suggestions for both my meal and drinks. Everything was fantastic, and her service made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to visit her again

Island Grill and Raw Bar is a true gem in Tierra Verde! From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch. The food was absolutely outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was a hit, and the beverages were just as impressive, perfectly balanced and refreshing.

A special shoutout goes to Jordyn, our bartender, who made the afternoon even better. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the menu and drink pairings. Her attentiveness made us feel well cared for even though it was a busy holiday weekend without ever being rushed. Jordyn’s warm personality and professionalism truly elevated the whole dining experience.

We’ll definitely be back – highly recommend both the food and the outstanding service!

We were on vacation and sat at the outside tiki bar during the day this past weekend, and Jordan was absolutely amazing. She made our experience so enjoyable with her friendly personality and attentive service. The drinks she made were excellent and refreshing , the best we’ve had on our trip!

Jordan went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. She truly made our vacation stop memorable, and we would highly recommend sitting at her bar to anyone visiting

We had our furbaby so we were unsure. We asked about sitting outside and was seated immediately. On the way to our table, we passed 4 other furbabies on the patio! When taking our drinks order, our waitress asked if our furbaby needed a bowl (we ordered him a water)! He had his own but how thoughtful. The oysters were huge and the Old Bay shrimp were a perfect combo! The fish spread was amazing and the coconut shrimp was delish! The drinks hit the spot on a hot summer day. Parking was plentiful. Wonderful experience for all!

There is a pool connected to the restaurant and you can get in if you purchase a $7 wristband BUT, if you stay at the hotel next door (Marriott) you can get a free wristband. 😉 Great service, there was live music, food was delicious and so were the drinks. Pool was huge, clean, and serine. Highly recommend, we will be returning. ❤️

First time here for dinner and Anna Kate was our server and she was amazing, so friendly, helpful and sweet! Our meal of salmon and the chilled seafood platter was delicious. Highly recommend not just for the food but for the amazing service, we will definitely be back!
