Long story short: The food is pretty good, not great, but overpriced for what you get.My wife and I each ordered the Prime Rib Hogie with Mac & cheese. The hostess came back to us, very apologetic, to tell us they were out of Mac & Cheese. I want to love Hoffman's Table but it's just okay. The location/parking isn't convenient so it's not a good option during the work week for lunch. I don't love walking my kids down/across main street to get there and the atmosphere/menu isn't very kid-friendly. Probably a great spot for retirees.
Really delicious! This was an unplanned late lunch stop as we were passing through and honestly one of the best meals we had on vacation (meals which included $100 entrees at upscale Miami eateries). My husband and I opted to try a couple of the daily specials, Salmon in lemon caper sauce and grouper in red pepper cream sauce.
