The staff is usually preoccupied, making the diner feel as if they're bothering them. The food is sub-par: for example I've ordered their Chili Pups the last three times I visited, and the tiny amount of chili added was found outside the hot dog on the bottom of the container. It's for sentimental reasons I visit at all. Unfortunate.
It's was pretty late (or early) when I pulled up. I grew up on White Castle and I prefer ketchup over mustard on the sliders. To me, that is the primary difference between the sliders at both restaurants, pretty much. I asked for ketchup, no mustard. I got literally a dot of ketchup on each burger. I know the sliders are small, but a dot of ketchup was impossible to taste on a slider that is mostly bread. ? I was on an overnight road trip and it was the middle of the night,...
First time experience. I had heard in the past that they were comparable to white Castle, but absolutely not! My daughter did ask if they could not put onions on it, but they apologized and offered to scrape them off. I’m sure they were good if you knew what to expect and you would have to absolutely love, mustard and onions, cause that’s just how it is.
