Update: The past few times we have ordered our regular favorite dishes, the quality seems to have gone downhill while the prices have increased. We think maybe it could be because we always order on weekend nights so it's busy and they're rushing to feed lots of people. It just isn't the same as it was years ago.I am so happy they brought back my favorite: oxtails with choice of sides. Thank you for expanding the menu. I'm going to be going here more regularly now. I also like the fried chicken and meatloaf. The staff are very friendly people and the new interior looks great! This is a great local restaurant to get authentic soul and comfort food.

My wife and I vacationed in the area for the weekend, we found this restaurant and made a visit. We sat at the bar and ordered, the owners daughter assisted us. We felt right at home like we were family, everyone was so helpful. The food was so delicious and delivered within time. We will be back soon!!!

Love the food.., we ordered their fried gizzard,bbq ribs, fried chicken and meat loaf, all taste great. comfort food away from home. We also tried their desserts, we had coconut cake, key lime pie and banana pudding. It’s my first time to try the key lime pie and I enjoyed it to the last bite., and their banana pudding is the best, my partner William finish it all with a little resedue of the pudding on the plate.
Saw this on a hunt for places to eat as we were traveling through from St Augustine to Titusville FL. Wow, so glad we stopped. Had the 3 piece mixed fried chicken and it was delicious. Got two sides and two mini corn bread muffins with the meal. Get the sweet and sour brussel sprouts, you won't be sorry. Husband and I shared a meal and had more than enough food. Got the key lime pie for dessert and again pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Stop if your in the area. You won't be sorry.

I was with a church group of 7 ladies and we all ordered. I ordered the lunch cheeseburger with one side. Everyone receives their food except for me. Approximately 10-15 min pass Everyone is eating and finally mine comes out on toasted bread. The server then comes back and i askedwhy the burger is on toast. She said we ran out of buns. I said "Look i will eat the side, let's just call my lunch free. Of course i would pay for the drink. I had 4 fried green tomatoes and tea. When i got the bill they charged me for the tomatoes. She said they had to charge me. Oh well i will NEVER return. I think asking for the side to be free was not much to ask after the cheeseburger fiasco. Not good management choice. It is not about the money, it was just the principle.

Another awesome experience at Loyd’s! Food is freshly prepared and I’m never disappointed. My favorites are their sides, brussels sprouts and carrot soufflé! A special shout out to our waiter, Ian! Awesome service, very attentive, and a lovely young man! Also got to love “V” whose personality lights up the place!
