This place was hopping. There were definitely regulars eating there and getting take out. They had a large assortment of baked items but also made sandwiches. Could eat in or take out. We tried a few things and the blueberry scone topped our list although they did not look like typical scones.

This is a great place to get fresh bread, your favorite coffee, and a place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere of the coffee shop vibe. My only complaint is that I wish the snickerdoodle cookies taste better, kinda chalky

Been a long time supporter and the food is amazing but please hire and train better front of house staff. I waited 30 minutes for my food and coffee, when I told them, the cashier insisted she didn’t have that order and the other worker had to have her look it up in the system. Then she gave me a cold coffee instead of hot and insisted that’s what I ordered. She was not apologetic or friendly at all. Blonde hair and braids. I never leave reviews but this was a terrible experience and management should know about it.

Coffee and food are amazing - only thing is that the system for calling out the orders is a little chaotic. Wish they’d have a number or name system to make it easier!
Tried to order chocolate babka and no one knew what I was talking about. So I spelt it out saying it’s like a chocolate and cinnamon loaf. That was a mistake because that’s exactly what they made. A loaf of swirl bread with chocolate and cinnamon. I took it because I ordered it thinking cinnamon toast was a consolation prize. But after opening it up the center was moist and the rest was quite dry. Disappointed😩 Guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for real chocolate babka.

I own Harry Smooth’s Cigar Shop, pretty much next door to Sunrise, for the last 20 years and although I don’t go in every day, myself or one of my employees go for a Big cup of mud at least once a week and it’s always fresh, hot and delicious! I’m an old school guy but I do enjoy a “Foo Foo” coffee once in awhile and rock on one of their caramel macchiato’s! And WOW, is it ever Delicious! And their “Monkey Butts” are AMAZING! OH, and their jalapeño cheese buns are to DIE for! Awesome place!
50 minute wait for a sorry excuse for smashed unseasoned avocado on limp bread. If staff is not available to support kitchen orders, don't take kitchen orders.
