This is a great place to get fresh bread, your favorite coffee, and a place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere of the coffee shop vibe. My only complaint is that I wish the snickerdoodle cookies taste better, kinda chalky

Tried to order chocolate babka and no one knew what I was talking about. So I spelt it out saying it’s like a chocolate and cinnamon loaf. That was a mistake because that’s exactly what they made. A loaf of swirl bread with chocolate and cinnamon. I took it because I ordered it thinking cinnamon toast was a consolation prize. But after opening it up the center was moist and the rest was quite dry. Disappointed😩 Guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for real chocolate babka.

I own Harry Smooth’s Cigar Shop, pretty much next door to Sunrise, for the last 20 years and although I don’t go in every day, myself or one of my employees go for a Big cup of mud at least once a week and it’s always fresh, hot and delicious! I’m an old school guy but I do enjoy a “Foo Foo” coffee once in awhile and rock on one of their caramel macchiato’s! And WOW, is it ever Delicious! And their “Monkey Butts” are AMAZING! OH, and their jalapeño cheese buns are to DIE for! Awesome place!
50 minute wait for a sorry excuse for smashed unseasoned avocado on limp bread. If staff is not available to support kitchen orders, don't take kitchen orders.

If zero stars were a thing, that would be my honest review. I was really excited to try this place and after today, I won’t even give it a second chance. I went in to get a few things for myself and my coworkers… I ended up leaving with my hands empty and my order paid for. I waited for over 30 minutes for a smoothie to be made. The employees literally forgot to make my smoothie three different times, I actually had to ask them if they could make it 3 different times and still didn’t get it made. After still not making it and listening to the employees argue with each other the entire time… I just walked out. Without the order I paid for. My whole break was spent waiting for a an order I literally never got. LOL. I did get a muffin, tried it… and it crumbled to pieces. A million pieces. I just threw in the white flag entirely. Pier 13 is my go to and I never should have tried any different. That’s what I get I guess lol
