Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Took my partner here for his first quesadilla from TSC and he loved it. I always get the chicken pesto flatbread and sub the chicken for the plant-based option. Always delicious. I’m glad that there are more TSCs opening up so I know I can find a quality, healthy meal that’s affordable and gives me energy.

This location in particular was so cute. I loved that the staff were so friendly (especially for it being so early in the morning). Thank you for the hospitality.

I just tried the Tropcal Smoothie Cafe for the first time.

Four employees were in the store, with no customers.

All four employees looked at me. They made eye contact. One of them answered a question I asked about the ingredients.

I stood at the counter for five minutes. They looked at me several times. One washed dishes.

One packed the delivery order.

Two conversed with each other.

No one said anything further to me.

After five minutes of this absurdity, I left.

Can't say what the food tastes like.

If I could do no stars, I would. This place is going downhill fast. I used to be a frequent customer, and almost every time I go now its just disappointing. Do BETTER! This sucks!!!

Also hire some friendlier staff, no one seems to actually appreciate having a job anymore. There were a whole 3 customers in the store and 3 workers, and not one of them greeted me. Stood at the counter and one turned around after 2 minutes of me standing there to say we'll be with you in a minute.

Wrong prices and inclusions posted in the board. The staff is very uninformed about their products. I notified corporate and the management of this location did not care enough to resolve any issues.

Before taking a sip this is how I received my cup not even full. The smoothie is not blended and I can’t even sip it. Terrible!

I go here almost every other day to get a smoothie, but the last four visits they have been inconsistent and gross. They are never blended anymore I don't know if the machines needs sharpening or what but the last two had full almonds in them like six almonds at the bottom of the cup. The one I got today was like they forgot to add anything frozen? It was really strange like just a drink complete liquid and also not blended just chunks of kale and pineapple throughout. It sucks because when they make a good smoothie it's really good and the staff is always very friendly and fast. I assume the machines need a tune up. But for $11 it's just not worth it.

I’ve ordered the veggie hummus wrap twice. I called to make sure it does not come with meat and it is not supposed to have meat. It also does not list meat in the ingredients. It’s a veggie wrap. Yet both times I ordered, there was chunks of chicken and I could not eat my lunch. You would think having the list of what comes on it is right infront of them so they would make it correctly but obviously they don’t know what they’re doing.

If I could give it negative starts I would had purchased over $40 in jetty punches with extra banana and they are completely watery and absolutely not a smoothie its pretty much just straight liquid. Never had a problem as I go here every morning for a smoothie headed to work nor did I have the time to go right back. There taking people's $$ n not doing n giving proper care to what there giving out. It was the thicker lady there she's the one that made it and she never usually makes the smoothie she usually is making the food.

I've never eaten here, so why take my advice.

Went in about 1/2 hour 45 min after my brother who got a smoothie and had Nutella added to his smoothie. When I went in I asked to add Nutella added to my smoothie and I was met with a firm no and was told that they were not doing that to smoothies when I told them that my brother just had an order with Nutella added to his the staff argued that my brother may have had a bowl and after telling them they had just done it within the same hour and then they proceeded to tell me well we still don’t do that. So this has been a very frustrating experience because if they couldn’t be done how was it done when my brother ordered.

Our family enjoys going to this particular Tropical Smoothie because we are always welcomed with a smile and excellent customer service. I know how hard it is to work in the food industry since I did for so many years as a teen. You can never make anyone happy no matter what. However, I am always happy when I come to get my smoothie and jerk flat bread. I think people need to give more grace to all these teens who are in the learning process. Thank you, team, for all you do and for the amazing food you serve always. Your smiles make my day!!

I had a good flatbread and before I left I decided to get a detox smoothie. The employee handed it to me dripping everywhere and I literally had to wipe it up with about 3 or 4 napkins. This employee saw it dripping right in front of me and said nothing. It was bad enough to leave a big wet ring on the table from the cup. I wiped it up too. It seems some coaching could happen here.

Tropical smoothie is my go-to smoothie shack, prices? Yes it is high but it’s sooo worth it. Today after shopping I decided to get a smoothie as usual. While ordering I saw a girl who seemed a little new there and she put her finger in her nose and took out her nose ring and like put it back in.. I was a little skeptical but I didn’t think much about it. Once she brought my smoothie there were short hairs on the side of the cup, about 3 of them. Then I look at the top of the lid and there was a green booger on it. I wasn’t for sure it was a booger but since the girl that had her fingers in her nose gave me the drink it added onto my suspicion. I just ended up wiping the hairs and booger off and drank it, it was delicious tho sooo! ☺️💕
