“Cecelia’s Sweets and Vampire Penguin is a family owned and operated desert and snack store located just off of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg with another Vampire Penguin location in Seminole, Florida. Their award winning shaved snow is unlike anything we’ve ever had before and we were already fans of the Vampire Penguin in Seminole before we tried their downtown St. Pete location!We were greeted by a very sweet young lady as well as Cecelia’s daughter and we’re excited to find that this location offered some additional items like house-made freeze dried candy, gourmet popcorn, cookies, delicious premium ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone, soft drinks, floats, warm pretzels, and even non-dairy and low sugar options on their small sized snow desserts! The restaurant is super cute with bright decor, friendly service, bar style seating and even a water bowl for your fur kids just outside the door! They have a cute Instagramable wall and the bathroom was well kept and clean.We ordered a warm salted Pretzel with their honey mustard dip which was delicious! I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream in a cone and my husband ordered the stunning Polar Affogato - Coffee and Vanilla flavored snow, surrounded by Chocolate Brownie chunks, drizzled in Chocolate sauce and topped with fresh Whipped Cream dusted with Coco Powder. It was mind blowing!We will 100% be returning to Cecilia’s for the wonderful treats and fabulous customer service! Next time, I hope to bring my fur kid for their Bow Wow Wow canine friendly snow made of fruit snow and drizzled with Peanut Butter sauce.“

I got the Ribeye with goat cheese on top and the jumbo shrimp on the side. “My mom recommended Craft Kafe to try while we visited St. Pete and glad we came here! My boyfriend and I just got the basic Craft breakfast sandwich and Iced Chai lattes. The breakfast sandwiches are just WOW, bigger than we expected and very yummy. You can't even tell the bread is gluten-free.The only odd thing about the building is where the ladies bathroom is located, which is to the left after you enter past the walk-in cooler (in case anyone might be wondering ?)Wish we had been in town longer to try their amazing variety of pastries!“

“Lovely cafe with great, fun decor. I ordered a cold brew and was nearly knocked off my feet by how strong it was. (This is a good thing!) I usually go easy on the sugar but this brew was so powerful I had to mellow it out a bit. Also tried a vegan cinnamon roll with my sister -- was definitely big enough to share -- and it was delicious and not too dense (unlike some vegan pastries I've had elsewhere). Service was prompt despite a big line. Will definitely return.“

“The new cinnamon rolls are really good. I mean REALLY good. I am not a sweets person, but I do like an occasional treat every now and then that is not sugary sweet. The cinnamon rolls are sweet, but the sweetness is balanced perfectly with the savory and rich strong butter flavor. The cinnamon taste is not overwhelming. The dough itself is fluffy and layered almost like a croissant. Normal cinnamon roll dough can be thick and tough. It wasn't like that at all. Great treat and perfect recipe! “I love Black Crow. When I moved here from Seattle a while back, before there were 10,000 coffee shops in St Pete, this is one of the first places that felt like "home" to me. Quirky, eco-conscious, community oriented, with a cozy interior and a garden courtyard full of fun things to look at. A little oasis downtown. The only tiny ding I have is that I wish there were more gluten-free and vegan items.Oh, I will say that if you think "woke" is a dirty word, you will not enjoy this place and it will not enjoy you.“

“HaleLifes customer service is amazing! I had stopped by a few weeks back to get a donut and had an awful stomach reaction, which is no one’s fault. I emailed them a few days ago and the Head Chef emailed me back regarding that experience and we have now sent multiple emails back and forth discussing ideas on how to pinpoint what I may have had a reaction to, since I’m typically sensitive to gluten and dairy.
