It was a Saturday morning and the decision was made to try to look for a bagel shop with bagels comparable to what I have enjoyed all of my life and Bear's Beans & Bagels was todays pick. The iced Banana Cream Pie latte was tasty and smooth which satisfied my thirst. Unfortunately, the bagels of which I purchased 3 different to go are not the style of a compact firm boiled-baked bagel. These bagels had more of a bread or roll texture. The Asiago Cheese bagel shown in the picture had plenty of cheese! If you like a trendy little spot to have a coffee with a friend you can eat at a table on the sidewalk or inside and park across the street in the public parking area. Sorry, I won't be back for the bagels just the lattes.....

I got the queen bee and a bacon egg and cheese on garlic bagel. Everything was amazing. I'm so glad to see umatilla is getting a nice coffee shop.

They're always very quick here. I love to order online and it is ready within the estimated time, but usually sooner.

Popped in here the other day to check it out. A very clean, trendy vibe place with drink menu items with unique names and ingredients. Mostly coffee drinks but also noticed Chai tea and some misc. food items like bagels and cheese pastry. Very cute place to sip a beverage and watch the world go by through the large front windows.
Their bagels are awesome and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly!!

Not enough stars to rate how amazing Bears is, the best and most consistent coffee I’ve had. The owners and employees are always so friendly and sweet! If you haven’t tried Bears yet you definitely need to!!

I had high hopes for Bears Bagels, especially being new to me, being back in town for the first time in two years. On the surface, the store makes a great impression—clean, welcoming, and staffed by incredibly sweet and attentive ladies. Their service was warm and appreciated.
Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill from there. Charging a paying customer for a cup of water is just absurd. On top of that, not offering drip coffee over ice, and instead pushing their ultra-strong cold brew (aka rocket fuel), feels more like an upsell than customer care. A little effort (pouring coffee in a cup with ice) goes a long way.
The final straw was the $6 bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, which came with what looked like half a slice of cheap bacon. At that price point, it felt like I was being taken advantage of—not served a proper breakfast sandwich.
I truly wanted to like this place, but between the nickel-and-diming and the lack of value in the food, I won’t be returning.
