It had been a few years since I’ve been here, unfortunately for them this time will be our last. First of all, you’ll notice cleanliness in the dining area is not much of a priority, I can’t imagine what it looks like in the kitchen. We ordered two lunch specials. The first one was the General Toso, chicken and the sweet and sour pork. Both meals tasted horrible, tasted like old freezer burnt chicken and pork found at the bottom of the freezer from years ago. The yellow rice didn’t have hardly any flavor either. The egg roll was the only thing that was any good.

Staff was nice but the food was awful. It lacks any sort of flavors you would expect from American Chinese food. The food was worse than a microwavable version you can get from the grocery store. I could barely get through four bites of the fried rice before just throwing it away.
Just horrible, ordered 3 different dishes, they all tasted the same, over cooked vegis, couldn't even eat the chicken, they gave me the wrong dish had to drive all the way back to get the correct one..I will never go back, oh and the older woman on the phone pretending not to know English but she does just fine when you order, not when you have a complaint..stay away..

Almost didn't stay because the place had a forlorn deserted look. Most of the dining room was blocked off with random items for sale. We got the chicken and broccoli from the "no salt, no sugar, no fat" menu. The chicken was just barely done. It had the cornstarch coating that you would use for frying, but the coating was gummy, as the chicken seemed to have been steamed. The food had absolutely no flavor. Hadn't the cook heard of ginger, garlic, or five spice? We tossed our dinner in the trash and ate some crackers and cheese that we had in the car.

My husband and I did take out from China Wok tonight and I had House Special Mei Fun - it was delicious and I will definitely get it again. My husband got Chicken Dumplings and the sauce was so good I drank what he did not use. Next time I will ask for an extra sauce.
