This used to be the best place to eat they had to play with the rules if they would have just did what the old owners did this place would still be blooming now it's just another place shut down because nobody wants to listen to the old owners and do what they did now we just passed by this once loved barbecue place

I've been going to the OC for a long time. But recently the management changed. Which ended up making the meat even better. However, the sides need to stick to the original recipes.

Bring back the old crow! New owner is RUDE! Portions are not the same, ribs are greasy,fatty,and tasteless. Collards out of a can,why. You only get two pieces of bread, which is way over buttered. BBQ sauce is not the same. We will not be back! What a shame!! pork and beans out of a can also! WTH?
They be be out of business with in a year! So sad!!!

This was a happy little find. Everything about the place was straightforward, friendly, and the food quality was out of sight. Got the barbecued pork sandwich with a side of collard greens and this boy was one happy camper. I hit mine with a sweet barbecue sauce and a little bit of the hot pepper vinegar. Wait staff could not have been more personable. They seem to be efficient and on top of their game in every way. Would definitely stop back in here again. Excellent food.

The remodeling turned out well while keeping the rustic vibe. While eating inside is dependent on the staffing, perhaps take out may be quicker for those on the go. The dinners are great, however I've noticed the beans are not as thick with added meat bits. The chicken never disappoints however, the ribs and beef brisket is on the wee bit fatty side. There is a great smokey flavor with all of the meats & ribs and the steaks are incredible! You'll become a regular in no time! Yummy😋

So very disappointed- loved getting ribs and sides always SO good ! Tonight worst we have ever had - ribs were cold and not really cooked well, the macaroni and potato salad was very watered down like they weren’t drained well and macaroni was really over cooked and mushy - SO sad !! WE won’t be going back

Ate here for the first time in a couple years and it was not good...Parts of the chicken on my sandwich were very crispy and hard to chew and there were a few small bones. The green beans were tasteless. To top it off, the waitress asked which of the 5 tickets was ours. Not our job to know. Won't be going back...
Ordered 1.5 lbs of brisket and turkey. Got home and it looked short. Weighed it and it .75 of a lb total. When I called to tell them they made a mistake was told my scale is wrong. Never going back!!

Well gave it another chance and nothing changed except everyone was nice. If it’s not broke don’t fix Ribs over cooked baked potato size of a qball Shredded cheese melted instead of nacho cheese on potatoes coleslaw no good blah seemed beans straight from a can make them your own spice em up ! Oh and didn’t get garlic toast on any meal given up hope this helps
