As mentioned on my previous review, I came back to try some ramen today. Every place deserves a second chance and fair review. Whenever I come across new ramen place, I usually try shio (clear broth) or shoyu (clear broth plus soy sauce). My belief is that it is easier to judge ramen place if ramen is simple, and not have all sorts of things added to mask the lack of umami or deep flavor or base. I never write reviews but i was actually disappointed as i was looking forward for a long time to order from here. Door dashed the food was mid if being honest. Tried korean hotdog for the first time, was disappointed they all have the same flavor, The hot cheeto wasn't spicy, both are greasy and have no flavor, tasted strongly like fish, and tasted sweet for some reason, formed well but would have been so good if there was any flavor. Tonkotsu ramen was good. Broth could have been more savory. Also had pork dumplings and shrimp tempura. Dumplings were good. Tempura dipping sauce could have been better with more dashi and less soy sauce. Service was good. Passable and not over the top.
