Disappointed. . . in myself for not coming sooner and becoming a regular customer. Raw oysters were on point. The softshell crab sandwich may have been the best I've ever had. Even the french fries were perfect.Great selection of domestic and local beers. Service was excellent. I went during lunch rush and the place was busy. However, the oysters came out almost immediately, and the hot food was only a couple minutes behind. Atmosphere is exactly what a Florida Oyster bar should be.

Fried Pickles were great. The Chargrilled oysters were a miss for me. The smaller ones were good, there were mostly large oysters. The large oyster weren't grilled long enough and they were just this side of raw. Not to my taste. I would try again but I wouldn't get the Chargrilled Oysters.

Feels like dining in a treehouse. We had a dozen raw oysters and they were huge and delicious! We also had the blackened mahi mahi basket and it was perfectly cooked and delicious! Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service

Placed an order for a Captain's platter and was told it would be 15 minutes. Could not pick my order up even though it was ready..had to stay in line for 20 minutes. When I finally got to the register, I was ready to pay and asked if it was cold sitting there so long. I was told it wasn't until I paid. When I asked if I could get a hot order, I qas told it would take another 25 minutes! Doc's customer service is horrendous ?

I usually get the blackened mahi-mahi… it IS the best around, but everything I have ordered is wonderful. This is one of my favorite spots in Niceville and it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset.Great atmosphere, great view, great service, great food, great drinks.
