First time checking out this restaurant. Our kids got a cheese pizza and one thing they liked was the garlic butter flavor on the crust. While we got a burrito and steak street tacos. Portion size was perfect for the price. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

If you live here, you know there are plenty run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurants around here. I think thatās why it took me so long to try Guaco Taco. Iām super quality consciousāa bone-broth kind of gal, and I just donāt get excited about run-of-the-mill food. But my mind was blown this past week after finally stepping into Guaco Taco, enough that Iām writing my very first food review.
Iāve made two orders in the past week: got street-taco plates each time (chicken then steak) plus some guacamole and spicy green sauce. Within my first couple bites, I knew this was differentānot just fresh but artisanal, too! I could taste the history. I just had a ball bouncing from flavor to flavor. Plates come with beans, rice, chips, salsa, little jalapeno slices, a lime wedge, and a radish. The chicken and steak are both delicious and the helpings are generous. I love that the steak is finely sliced. The guac is great, and the spicy green sauce is just a revelation to me. I told my family to sample it, and they loved it too! Itās just that artisanal difference, impossible to put into words.
While I enjoyed the street tacos, my husband and kids enjoyed pizza from Space Force Pizza. They happily reported that they enjoy Space Force Pizza more than our usual pizza go-to. Fantastic experience for my first visit to Guaco Taco. I initially entered and was hesitant to order since I wasn't very hungry. When I said I'd come back another time the restaurant offered to buy my lunch! An unexpected delight and a considerate gesture. They were not aware of my popular status as a Google reviewer when offering to buy my lunch.
The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was filling and flavorful. The guacamole was fantastic as was the mild and verde salsa.
Be sure to try their spicy sauce if your a fan of heat it wasn't the hottest but had wonderful flavor.

Tried this place out for lunch today based on the 5-Star reviews. Iām sorry, but Iāve never felt so lied to in my life. Perhaps we caught them on a REALLY bad day? Ordering was slow. Food started to come out fast but then got held up. Orders were being served to the wrong people. Our table of four received our orders spread out over 20-25 minutes.
The food was not great. I had the chicken street taco plate. The rice was dried out. The chicken seemed like Costco rotisserie chicken with no seasoning. They piled on the meat and toppings šš» for the tacos on the tiny corn tortillas šš». The tortilla chips were stale. They only provided about a tablespoon of salsa. I typically donāt eat pinto beans, but these were probably the best part of the meal for me. Just under $20ā¦not worth it.
