Bruster's Real Ice Cream

The portion size of the ice cream was disappointingly small, and I could taste the flavor of the ice cream scoop ordered before me in my scoop. This clearly shows they don’t wash their scoopers between servings, which is both unprofessional and unhygienic. As someone who is lactose intolerant, the serving was so tiny that it didn’t even affect me—an unfortunate indicator of just how little ice cream they serve. This wasn’t our first bad experience; the same issue happened during our last visit, but we decided to give them one more chance. Sadly, nothing has improved. My “Death by Chocolate” flavor tasted more like “Mildly Liked by Chocolate.” This used to be my favorite spot for quality ice cream, but under the new management, it’s lost all its appeal. We won’t be coming back.

i loved my experience here especially the customer service was amazing

very good ice cream. its under new ownership so little ups and down with the scoop sizes but good ice cream. will come back again. loved the caramel macchiato and the new indian flavors. staff was really kind too. forgot to give one of my order in busy times but was very sweet about it and sorry about it

My wife and I are long time customers of Bruster's, the one on Bloomingdale Avenue as well as others in Florida and Georgia. The ice cream is good yet expensive. We just had some ice cream at the Bloomingdale store and for the third time, very disappointed. Evidently, it is under new ownership and the new owner has determined that the scoops of ice cream given out in the past were way too big. Now, the scoops are very small. We questioned the owner and she said that's the rules and in the past, the employees were giving out too much. I told her the flavors and the scoop sizes were the reasons we came to Bruster's. Considering the very high cost of their ice cream, it is not worth it to get tiny little scoops. They have finally lost 2 customers. Maybe when the are forced to sell the business due to no business, the new owners will realize what the draw is and return to the best practices for the customers. We will see. Until then, we are headed to Cold Stone and elsewhere.

Went through the drive thru and was assisted by Lydia. She was patient and very helpful. She made sure to verify the complete order, provided us with lids for the bowls. It was a surprise to learn it was only her third day on the job. She did such a great job.

You order and they give you something that is nothing like what you ordered. You describe it to them again and it is still incorrect. You get that item and the next they get it wrong again! Cannot be fathomed why as you were the only three people there ordering. Additionally, the new fall flavor does not taste like the description and definitely does not look like the picture advertised. Tastes like everyday butter pecan not scotchy. The floor is gray unfinished concrete and without the colorful signage this place would look even more dreadful and boring than it currently is.

Ripped off tonight! Bought a large order. Staff shorted us on several serving sizes and didn't get our order right on 3 of our 7 orders. Very small serving sizes! Do not go here!

Two girls working just kept me standing outside for over 10 minutes you can tell they have a great Idgaf about anything attitude they’re focusing on delivery orders even ones that came up after me being there you’re always supposed to prioritize the customer that’s there first

I go here all the time! Staff is amazing and with all their options for ice creams and even the opportunities for pup cup ice creams and even free ice creams for the kiddos, it's amazing and truly makes my entire family's day!!

Icecream flavors are amazing. Noticed that they definitely downsized their portions and made the scoops much smaller which is disappointing. Atmosphere is good though, so three stars.
