The food here has improved so much under new ownership! Their spicy mayo is actually made to be spicy (I think they make it with Sriracha, chef special) which is unique and I love it. Don’t like sushi? No problem! They have American Chinese Food favorites.
Very reasonable lunch prices in relation to portion sizes.

I gave the restaurant a 4.5 rating but had to choose between 4 or 5 stars, so I rounded up to 5 because the sushi was excellent.
After hearing great reviews and knowing the restaurant has been around for a while, I finally decided to try it. I usually go to Tsunami for Japanese food but it’s far away. They are over by Costco and I live in Valrico.
What I Ordered
Salmon Lovers ($22.99) - 10/10: I will order this often! My only wish is that they will offer soy paper, as I’m not a fan of nori. tsunami charges $2 for soy paper so it would generate more income for the restaurant. I gave the roll to my husband, who said it was delicious. Typically, I order a Japanese bagel with soy paper for $2 extra, plus crunchies and roe, costing about $10 each or $20 for two. The Salmon Lovers dish offers much 10x more fish and is a better value. My doctor recommended eating more fish like salmon and avocado, so I also ordered the Avocado Salad ($5.99) to top each sushi piece, and it was fantastic! I added a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce, drizzling a few drops on each piece. My only regret is not trying this place sooner!
Crab Rangoon - 8/10: These were fairly average but still enjoyable, and I’d order them again. They were exactly what you’d expect. I would have preferred some green onion for extra flavor, but that’s a personal preference, not a standard expectation. The sweet and sour sauce was good but so much. They should consider giving much less like in a smaller dipping cup. This would cause less waste and save the restaurant money over time.

Placed an delivery order today at 5pm. At 6p they called saying they were too busy to deliver my order that it would be best for me to come pick it up. I order from them fairly frequently, but will think twice about it next time since they are unreliable and take order they can't fulfill.

Ordered take out, as I have done before. I immediately knew something was off by the color of the pad Thai. It was a reddish orange. Didn’t taste the same, threw it out. Disappointed because their food has been consistently very good in the past. I added a picture of the receipt and the bag the food was delivered in.

Super clean lobby. Ate here with a friend due to a recommendation from another. Amazing food. The sesame chicken is actually white meat chicken!!! Best I've ever had and completely fresh. The Asian lady was also very nice!
Shared a lovely dinner with my boys. The service was good, very attentive. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were just right. It had been a long while since I had been in, the food is as good if not better than I remembered. Will definitely come in more frequently, our family enjoys supporting local small business owners who have a great product.

A hidden jem in Valrico. Have been coming here for years. Restaurant is always very clean, staff is friendly & attentive. Sushi is always very fresh & tasty. Great miso soup. Prices are very fair as well.

My mom and I went for the first time. We enjoyed the sashimi 18 piece, ginger salad, spicy tuna roll, and Philadelphia roll. Wonderfully fresh. Very pleased with what we ordered we will definitely return. Nice pleasant staff.

Delicious food, great prices, fast service. I called to place a pick up order and it was ready in 15 minutes. We got gyoza, moo goo gai pan combo, and salt and pepper calamari. Everything tasted super fresh. Not too salty or oily. Good portions.

By far the best chinese food and sushi I've ever had! Our family is addicted! The salmon teriyaki combo is fantastic and a very good deal! The general tso's is hands down the best I've ever had. The sushi is always fresh and the perfect temperature, and is the best of all brandon in my opinion. Just get whatever you like. There's a good chance it will be fantastic.
