The most incompetent store in the United States. I ask for something extra the workers act like it’s coming out of their personal paycheck. They make your coffee wrong and god forbid you ask for a refund it’s takes 4 people to figure it out.

Took almost twenty minutes to get a regular cup of coffee with an espresso shot. I noticed the employee (Clay) wrote my name on cup but completely forgot me because they left right after I finally got my coffee. If it wasn’t for one of the employees who noticed me, I would’ve waited longer. Just felt forgotten and it was a Tuesday mid morning order so it wasn’t too busy on the surface.

I won’t be back at the Valrico, Fl location because I’ve had issues with the staff making my coffee correct many times. Today, a gentleman, I believe a manager, kept explaining how it wasn’t his fault saying it was the person that took the order. After the 3rd attempt, he finally got it right. I travel all over and come to this location when in town. This is the only location that I have issues and I’ve let it go because they apologized and made it right, very simple and that’s how it should be handled. Today, this barista/manager, went out of his way to be right. He insisted on going back and forth to explain he wasn’t wrong the first two attempts and blamed the person who took the order. That’s the gist of it but if you’re curious on the details, read below.

I ordered a hot mocha in the drive thru with some other selections. They first gave me a cold coffee instead of hot and the nice lady in the drive thru apologized and said it says HOT on the label so I apologize and I will have them to remake it. That was totally nice and acceptable response. A gentleman, I believe in management, approached the window and handed me the remade mocha but I noticed the bottom of the cup was cold, I opened the lid to find the previous cold coffee was used to remake it because the bottom of the cup was cool and the whip cream was mixed in (not placed fresh on top). It was obvious so I explained the bottom of the cup was cold and asked them to remake it. They handed me the cup and I drove away but had to turn around and go inside to show him there was about 3 inches of coffee in the grande cup. He went back and forth trying to explain but I stopped him to explain what I ordered and he said that’s not what she rang up (which is unnecessary finger pointing). He then said what she rang up was cheaper than what I ordered so he will have me pay the difference. I told him the drive thru screen showed my order correct but he was still going back and forth with me several times which only upsets people especially when in a hurry. I wasn’t there to argue, I simply wanted it remade without all the explanation and making the issue over the price difference was over the top. He was adamant to explain he didn’t make a mistake. A simple apology and remaking of the coffee is all your customers want.
After the 3rd attempt, it was correct but considering what I went through today, I won’t be back even tho it’s the most convenient location when I’m in the area.

Honestly I don’t go to any Starbucks often - I typically go as treat. Today I went to get some treats for me and my kids as a reward for doing some intense yard work. I knew my teens would smile if I told them I wouldn’t pay them for helping, but I’ll treat them to any drink of any size from Starbucks!

We headed to our closest location (this one on Bloomingdale Avenue) and I have to admit that we went at an off peak time, so I drove straight into the drive through with no wait. I don’t order here often, so I don’t always know what the terms are, so I fumbled my way through the order, but the person taking the order was great, cheerful and explained everything clearly. I have to say they gave AMAZING service! I proceeded to the window and they continued to smile and be cheerful - what a difference great customer service makes! We got our drinks and I enjoyed every sip of my caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino! Yes, lots of sugar I know, but this is a twice a year Starbucks treat for me, so I’m going to make it worth it. Yes it was a “Venti”. Go big or go home, right?!

Anyway, based on this particular visit I couldn’t find fault whatsoever. And based on this visit I will return here (maybe as a treat for the next yard project!!!!)

No longer will be coming to this Starbucks, even though it’s very close to us. This is now the 4th time that I’ve had a negative experience. Waited over 30 minutes for an iced coffee and an iced latte. Granted, I understand that they were busy, so I won’t hold that over them. The woman at the cashier however completely dismissed me when I told her that after a long wait (and already receiving my iced coffee), my 2nd drink still wasn’t ready, and that I thought somebody took it. She turned around and said “yeah that happens sometimes” and made no attempt to tell anybody on the bar that the drink needed to be remade. She got back to stocking tasks and completely ignored me. I had to bother one of the baristas on bar to explain the situation, who promptly made the drink. At the end of the day, it’s the lack of customer service that truly has pushed me to stop coming here. That, and the fact that baristas there consistently can’t tell the difference between what hot and iced means. Sincerely, a former Starbucks employee (back when customer service and good coffee meant something).

I routinely order my daughter a grande water with a scoop of strawberries at Starbucks. At every location except this one the cost is 50 cents. This location rings it up as a tea and charges $3.95 plus 50 cents for the strawberries. I have emailed with corporate and confirmed that this is not their policy. I hope this store policy will be revised.

Absolutely horrible! Every time I go to this location they get my order and name wrong! Yet they say “oh the screen is just going to ask a quick question (aka TIP). You can’t get the orders right, Lexi and Nick are absolutely horrible and you want a tip?

On the app it shows that the price of the drink I wanted with tax was $6.72 and when I get to the window to pay, he tells me it’s $7.93 and I explained to him that the app says that it’s this price and he says That they don’t know why and they have no explanation but they still charge extra money whenever the app is clearly saying that it’s this price they’re overcharging their customers. I will not be going back.

Drove through the drive-through this morning and the lady that was at the drive-through was excellent, but a lady came out behind her and told me I cannot smoke in the drive-through which it was a premium Cigar(tobacco only). With a very negative look on her face telling me It is policy there’s no smoking through the drive-through Which I’ve seen tons of people in their cars, smoke cigarettes and blunts but why was I solely picked out. if it is a policy there should be a sign out there and I would’ve obliged But The lady came to me and said something with negative facial expressions and some what of attitude is very unprofessional. What threw me off is when I was asking her about it She just walked away and left the lady at the drive-through window Apologizing for her because of she just walked away as I was talking. As I am A manager of an establishment and would’ve never done something like that especially if there was no policy in place outside for people to see about smoking. But the lady serving my food was excellent with a beautiful smile just the lady that was telling me there’s a no smoking policy through the drive-through does not need to talk to people like that with so much negative energy she could’ve came to me a little bit more politely. I get it if you’re not a morning person. Should start working in the afternoon then. Just saying.
