don’t normally write reviews, but I have a lot to say about how disappointing this experience was. For years, this particular Starbucks was my go-to spot. The staff knew me by name. My order was ready the moment I walked in, thanks to mobile ordering. As someone who works remotely, I spent countless hours here on Zoom calls and video meetings—it was quiet, comfortable, and felt like a second office. It wasn’t just the coffee that kept me coming back—it was the atmosphere. The staff were friendly, the environment was relaxed, and it truly catered to its regular customers. It was a space to kick back, be yourself, and connect with your favorite baristas. It felt like community. Fast forward to today—Saturday, April 19, 2025—everything has changed, and not for the better. After being closed for remodeling, I walked in excited to see the updates. What I found was honestly shocking: There are no more straws, napkins, or condiments available for customer use. Everything is behind the counter. Something as simple as grabbing a napkin now requires asking a busy barista—just to wipe your nose or clean your table. The layout? All the tables and chairs are practically gone. What’s left are tiny bistro tables that can barely hold a single cup of coffee. I couldn’t even set up my laptop. There’s no space to work, no comfort, and no room to breathe. The new seating arrangement forces people to sit on top of each other. It felt like sharing a booth with 12 strangers. Zero privacy. Zero comfort. The staff’s attitude? Sadly, not what it used to be. When I expressed concern about the lack of usable table space, I was completely dismissed—no acknowledgment, no solution. Starbucks, what happened? You used to be a haven for remote workers and people looking for a welcoming atmosphere. Now it feels cramped, cold, and corporate. You've stripped away everything that made your space unique and customer-focused. I’m truly disappointed. This remodel feels like a move away from customer comfort and community—and toward efficiency at the expense of experience. I hope Starbucks takes this feedback seriously. If your goal is to create a welcoming, functional environment again—please listen to your loyal customers. We want to come back. But right now, there’s nothing to come back to.

The only complaint I have is you kind of have to go inside because there is little to no room to go thru drive thru.

My drink tastes horrible, this location is the worst no matter what drink you order or time of day you go. The last time I came they gave me a melted down frappe and today I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and my drink had no cold foam and the drink looks or taste nothing like it is supposed to. I never leave reviews but this location needs the feedback because they need to better the quality of drinks. I would rather wait for a good drink than have them rushing to give me a disgusting drink missing ingredients that I paid for.

Hey everybody it's me again and I recommend the pumpkin latte it's really good and this place is always really nice the customer service is good and it's not that busy I've been there a lot or sometimes and there's never a lot of people there only like two people online it's not loud and it's really good five stars also they give your dog a pup cup bye!

Always busy. Parking is difficult, the drive through line is often blocking the parking lot, mobile and in store orders seem to take a back seat to drive through orders, and they often get orders wrong and they have to be remade. Also, they cancel standing reservations without informing the people who have the standing reservation until they are already there in the store and fully set up for their event. I literally drive to the Starbucks at Winthrop over this one when I am able due to poor customer service and difficult parking.

Got 2/protein boxes. Ask for the freshest..got home..cheese in both clearly moldy. Returned to exchange..got 2 more and ask them to check before accepting. Got the thumbs up/all good. I trusted them only to get home and BOTH boxes..AGAIN..full of mold. I'm done with Starbucks.

Check your receipts when you pay because they’ll charge you for additives in your drink and then not give them to you this has happened to me so many times here and it’s always when they’re busy and probably just trying to cut corners. not to mention it takes about 25 minutes to go through their drive-through. It’s sad this place has gone downhill over the past two years.

My husband and I walked in the cafe and ordered 2 drinks at 12:11pm and waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks. It’s understandable to be busy but after waiting all that while my drink was incorrect. I didn’t want to voice anything because I didn’t have more time to waste for it to be fixed. We were much better off waiting in the drive thru.

Still having issues at the Bloomingdale's Starbucks with one of there associates. First off I should not have a problem with asking another barista to make my drink. I've contacted the store manager and corporate. Every time I visit this particular store the one particular barista / shift manager. I guess doesn't like me. She doesn't allow anyone else to make my drink and I don't want her to make it either which causes me to have to drive to another Starbucks. I've had about enough of it. I'm contacting corporate once again.

Johnny was super helpful and sweet this morning when I went to get my coffee. The staff there is always exceptional and makes my morning commute that much better simply through their kindness (and yummy coffee)
