Place is small but packs a punch. Wish we lived closer. Great sushi lunch prices i always get the spicy tuna roll and add cilantro tried the bulgogi this time no regrets stir fry boiled were good and so was fried rice! Will go again

Over the years I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this establishment. I’ve been going to this restaurant for 7 years. I’m sad to say that the service quality has gone down tremendously. It seems that they are more concerned with their to go orders than they are with the folks sitting in the Restaurant. During my most recent visit tonight, I waited for over an hour (1hr 10min to be exact), for a simple hand roll, special roll, and chicken hibachi. Meanwhile, people were coming in and out of the restaurant picking up there to go orders. I asked a few of the patrons picking up their orders, “How long ago did you order your food?” The answers I got were 30/45 minutes - with multiple bags and styrofoam trays at that, but not one waited the hour that me and my wife had sat and waited for our food. Worse yet, the hot humid air from outside drafted into the corner where we sat, as if to mock us, each of the many times yet another person came in to pick up their orders. As much as I have loved this spot for the last 7 years, I’m not too sure that I’ll be coming back anytime soon….

The service was kind and attentive, and food arrived quickly, but those from the west coast, or anyone expecting authentic Japanese cuisine would likely be disappointed. The beef yakisoba came with overcooked, soggy noodles, a sauce heavy with sugar and cornstarch, and cubed medium-rare steak instead of the expected sliced beef. The tuna roll was especially concerning, dark in color with a strong iron taste, suggesting poor quality or improper handling. Portion sizes were generous, but overall, the food did not justify the price

An excellent sushi restaurant in Brandon / Valrico / Bloomingdale. I recommend trusting the chefs, and ordering whatever their special is. I doubt you'll be disappointed. As far as sushi goes, the price is not unreasonable. Highly recommend the white sangria by the bottle. Cheap, and pairs well with the sushi

Too small, for the amount of tables, service is horrible was directed to sit at one table and then was rudely told by another waitress I would have to move tables as I wasn't on the list.so ill go someplace that isnt here

Sunflower Cafe is one of my favorite local hibachi places! The food is always DELICIOUS, service is always fast, and workers are so kind. Such a great place to hang out with friends or family. My personal favorites are the lunch bento boxes! It can get very packed because it’s a smaller store but it’s always worth the wait.

Great food, cozy ambience and friendly staff. We tried food here few times and it was always pleasant experience.

First time I went to the restaurant for lunch and I was so excited to try the Omakase. My friend ordered the dinner version and I ordered the lunch version. Both of them were beautifully decorated and it was delicious and fresh. Worth every penny! Had a great experience overall! I wish I knew of this place before and I will be back again!

The food is generally very good here and consistent always very crowded locals love this place. The miso soup is very good only one concern at the sushi bar with asparagus cross contaminating with shellfish there was little to no interest when we brought it up to both the Sushi chefs and our waitress they seemed to not understand the concern or the significance that some people are allergic to shellfish. Also the sushi cooler was open the whole time we were there.

This place has ruined sushi elsewhere for my husband and I. We refuse to go anywhere but here. The rolls are INCREDIBLE. Service is amazing, avocado bombs are to die for. We have never been upset about the bill, because no matter what we order it has been well worth the price if not more. Only problem with this place is that it’s not right next to my house. I come here from riverview and it’s worth the drive.
